Many a book in Nid Arach starts in this manner or refers in some way to this master of darkness, yet there are a very bare minimum few who have ever truly seen this "Arachian Lord". Where he comes from is unknown. What race he is of, is unknown. Yet, this person is powerful enough to have caused a mark of Jishrim's presence on the very air and soil around his fortress. He is knowledgeable enough to learn of the location of many artifacts and gather them within this mighty fortress of Nid Arach. He is fierce enough to command the respect of the forces of darkness.

During Arachian adventures, you may encounter his minions on a daily basis. You may encounter his henchmen a bit less often. Arachian monsters even less often. Then, above them all, stands the Arachian Lord. He commands them all, from the darkness of the shadows.

This is a rare and epic BOSS character.

This event character is encountered extremely rarely and is bound to the Nid Arach region. It was created with help of the Lore Team to serve as a final insane boss at the very end of all Nid Arach shenanigans. It is meant as the final encounter in case people will one day have made their way through persistent effort to corner the Arachian Lord in a face-off.

Spell: Enact a divine vision that is thematic to your deity in the mind of another. It creates vivid imagery within their imagination, urging thoughts of glory or terror depending on alignment. The recipient must be conscious and without aggression.

Spell: Touch one object to ruin it with the following effect: break, rust, crack, shatter. Limit: Must be something one can lift or hold. Cannot be anything imbued by Enchantments, Arcane or Divine magic.

Spell: A glow emits around the Caster’s head for the duration of a speech, or held conversation. It can be visually thematic to a color of whichever neutral/evil god they worship. Players around in speak range will feel uneasy and unsettled. Effect doesn’t work on characters feeling extremely violent.

Spell: Light sources in a 10b radius, centered around the Caster, begin to flicker on and off. The Caster can will it to move along with them, or remain in one area. This Includes: candles, small fires, torches, glowstone and redstone lamps. The sources of light return to normal after 1 minute.

Spell: Embed a glyph of your divine on a small object. Arcane spells cast within a 3 block radius of its placement are forced to roll with an additional DC 10 check for failure. Passive spells are not included. This cannot be used on Artifacts. It works so long as the caster is on the same plane, and not dead. As a ritual, the caster may deactivate this glyph, regardless of proximity.

Spell: Direct a curse upon a target in speak range. A paranoia begins to grow towards people around the target. At first, it’s small. However, the next time the target sleeps, they have a nightmare that amplifies the paranoia. It can be remedied over time.

Spell: The Caster can create different sounds that originate from different areas in a 10b radius at a whim. Their appearance gradually becomes crazed and never clean, dark circles round their eyes, a spider’s mark tattoos into a chosen part of the skin, and they hear whispers of their past with conflicting emotions. Sometimes friendly, sometimes violent.

Spell: The Caster may send a message of up to 20 words in any language to a single familiar person to you, in the same plane of existence as yourself. They may send a response within the same limitations.

Spell: The Caster may detect the presence of a magical object or artifact within a 3b radius. If it’s of Divine influence, they may have an inkling of which Divine and a vague idea of what it may do. If it’s of Arcane influence- they are only aware that it is not of Divine make.
