Festival of Light: A Celebration of the Goddess Ignis
When: Wednesday 14th
Where: Queensport
Time: 5 pm EST (2 pm PST)
Status: Public and Moderate
Hostess: Elexana Von Hardanger
General:
- Merchants can sell their wares at this festival just reach out to the festival director (Elexana von Hardanger)
- The festival will feature a large bonfire where you can burn a piece of paper with wishes on them for Ignis to witness
- This event will be moderate simply due to the fact that there will be some fighting events though outside of the events it is preferred to keep a peaceful atmosphere
- Planned Events: Jousting contest, Grand Melee, Short Sermon, Raffle, and Firework Show
Jousting:
-Best of three
-Winner moves on to the next round
Grand Prize:
-Title of Grand Jouster of the Festival of Light
-One request of Lady Elexana von Hardanger (within reason)
-5,000 radiants
Grand Melee:
-First one to bleed or be knocked out of the ring loses
-The winner moves on to the next round
Important Note: These will be a clean fight, so the use of divine or arcane powers is against the rules and will lead to disqualification UNLESS agreed upon by both parties in the fight
Grand Prize:
-Title of Melee Master of the Festival of Light
-One request of Lady Elexana von Hardanger (within reason)
-5,000 radiants
Short Sermon:
Elexana von Hardanger will say a few words about our Lady of Light, what she has done in her life, and what she can do for those who decide to follow her. This part of the event may also be accompanied by singing by our lovely performer Cassius von Hardanger featuring songs and praises to Ignis.
Raffle:

- 95% of radiants earned from raffle tickets goes to the winner
Firework Show:
After the sermon fireworks will be lit as a closing to the event. Anyone who wishes to learn more about Ignis may come up to Elexana von Hardanger at this point and ask her any further questions they may have. She will do her best to guide you with her own knowledge or try and bring you to someone who can help you. She will be happy to help you officially commit yourself to Ignis if that is what you wish, though you are 100% not required to do so.
