23rd of Sunbright PC 2306 - Day of becoming Spiritblessed
• Emotional Changes immediately taken hold- Lana has less patience, has become more confident and more flirty.
• "Its having two emotions at once. Its easier to feel what it feels."
• Lana now is more willing to fight for the Wardens physically as a combatant.
• Generally, Lana has begun to swear and use profane language more.
• Lana talks to her elemental daily, often giving insults.
• The blonde now avoids rain and cold weather, staying within hot climates.
• She can no longer visit Frostwarts without suffering for important matters.
• At first, Lana had no control over her abilities.
• Lana now drinks her tea almost immediately after it has been made whilst still hot.
• Lana states she likes her black fingernails, claiming "I will never have to paint them again."
• Overall... Lana is more... Cheerful.


25th of Sunbright
• She discovers she is being 'consumed' by this blessing and becomes agitated.
• Lana has begun to generalize masses of people as selfish and idiotic.
• Still does not have control over her abilities.


26th of Sunbright - Day of deciding to be Cured
• Announces what the Elemental is doing to her in the Second Warden Meeting.
• Agrees with Kopii, Gerard and Kam she should be 'cured.'
• Tells her lover (Mira) that she will survive being cured in confidence.
• Was dismissive of Kopii's visit in frustration and annoyance to his calm attitude clashing with her fury.
• Has learned how to control [Blaze] at least and uses it often to light kettles, heat wax, so forth.
• Lana is told to wait for Gerard to work out how to excorise the elemental before being cured.


28th of Sunbright
• Lana decides to get drunk with her lover Mira in frustration of having to wait to be cured.
• She agrees to go on adventures with Mira in the future, previously something Lana forbade herself doing.


1st of Mistset
• Lana uses [Blaze] in the battle against Qlippoth to aid Foxbells.
• Burning with passion, Lana does not hesitate to rush into battle and becomes severely injured- previously unthinkable.


2nd / 3rd of Mistset - Kidnapped
• Lana attempts to fight in the Battle of Astrum, but is critically wounded to unconsiousness immediately. The next day Lana is kidnapped and the usage of her abilities is reduced due to inactivity whilst waiting for Blorb to be online.
• Due to being kidnapped, Lana cannot cure herself.


11th of Mistset
• Whilst a prisoner in dark places, Lana uses [Ignite] often to relight candles around her.
• Lana used [Blaze] to set Grainkeeper on fire during a Jishrimite Sermon as he was very flammable.
• She is frustrated and hateful towards Valiant and Ignis for allowing her torturers to go free when they were Uriel and Podric's prisoners.


23rd of Mistset - Escaped
• Lana used [Blaze] to break free of her rope bindings to escape Junse'ke.
• Lana later used [Blaze] again to cauterize a wound.
• Overall, Lana is angrier now.


24th of Mistset
• Lana takes refuge in Queensport, escorted there by Podric whom warmed her with his magical Halberd.
From that point on, Lana struggled to leave Queensport Castle as it would cause her intense pain and damage to the skin.


29th of Mistset
• Candle near her burns twice as bright and draws her in, causing her to be distracted for several minutes (DM'ed in comments).


30th of Mistset
• Went a week without using any abilities.


Waterday, 4th of Fogwater, PC 2307
Lana is 'cured' of her Fireblessed status by Magus Gerry McIvy.





Abilitites:

[Blaze] Flickers of flame can be willed to the fingertips and not burn them, providing the hands are not wet.
Times Used: 23

[Emberwalk] They can walk on hot coals/surfaces, and feel no burns to the bottoms of their feet, though it should be noted anything above the ankle can be felt.
Times Used: 0 [Passive]

[Ignite] They have the ability to will candles to re-light themselves providing they are within a ten block radius.
Times Used: 14​

How did Lana become Spiritblessed?

Lana attempted enchanting for the first time, wanting to enchant her sword. Confident, with her friend Kam with her, she attempted to use the Warden's Hall enchanting table. Unfortunately, the young elemental did not want to enchant the sword-- finding Lana so suitable that it did not ask permission to make her its vessel. It found Lana worthy, possibly due to the fires of determination in her soul to help lead the Warden's and Altera to victory against the Titans, the Wyrm, Jishrim and any imaginable threat.

Why did you decide to make Lana a Spiritblessed?

Lana needed the character development and it made sense.
She already planned on attempting enchanting before the Spiritblessed lore came out. A Fire Elemental possessing her seemed to make the most sense, given her situation. Her soul burned bright with determination and passion, yet her mind was patient and unwilling to always speak her mind. She needed some development to make her a stronger character-- some form of suffering for her emotions. Even if Lana becomes cured from being a Spiritblessed, she will be forever changed =)

Elz can correct me if I'm wrong, but my understanding is that this isn't possible. Your character may communicate through feeligns or emotions or try and speak to it, but I tihnk the case is that it will either not understand you as elementals' complexity of thought correlates with their power, or that it will simply not be able to respond outside of emotions. No spoken insults.

Unless you just meant she insults it sometimes, for the hell of it.

In Animancy, that is correct. To my knowledge it works the same way with this, yes.

She insults it for the Hell of it. I am fully aware the elemental cannot "speak" to Lana. Her emotions change with how the elemental is feeling, to which Lana often speaks aloud to it in response.

I would not have had Lana become a Spiritblessed if I was unaware of this. Simply because Lana communicates with her elemental does not quite mean it communicates back in earnest.

Updated with more information over the last few days and the amount of times Lana has, uncontrollably, used her powers.

I also updated the second post with a "why did you decide to make Lana a Spiritblessed," especially since Lana will be seeking a cure so soon after being told she is dying as a result of becoming one.

I did not expect Lana to still be a Spiritblessed of Fire. Think of it as another one of the Jishrimites tortures, preventing her from getting purged of the elemental within her.
