Though otherwise just a forest hosting a home to many animals, beasts and little critters, given its more recent inhabitants: The druids of chaos its been more often than not referred to as a garden. A garden to Jishrim or otherwise The garden of Jishrim. While additionally in relative close distance to Nid Arach, being directly south of the cursed hamlet. It is due dubbed 'the forbidden forest' to ward off any unsuspecting people from entering the forest now beholden of Jishrim worshippers.

Albeit it was otherwise just a forest. A forest with all its beauty from tree to flower and from animal to beasts and all the horror in between.

Consisting mostly of animals, creatures or beasts that belong to deep forests or woodlands, there may be certain anomalies brought in by Jishrimite worshippers or migrating animals pass through this forest. Where to the North the forest opens up to some small patches before the land is met by the infested and cursed soil of Nid arach. While to the South is a decently sized lake which provides opportunity to fresh-water creatures to thrive nearby as well.

Please keep in mind that some of these are from the forums themselves. I will try to link their original posts in said cases.

The Cerulean Crown
{A massive tree that produces beautiful blue and purple flowers}
The Cerulean Crown grows predominantly in the southeastern parts of the continent where it is warmer and closer to the ocean. In some areas, the flowering trees grow as far as the eye can see. A few of the more ancient trees have adapted to the fertile soil of the region to grow well over 100ft, although on average they only reach 60-70ft.

The bark is a pale gray and the wood is rather soft and smooth. The leaves are a deep green and akin to ferns in appearance. When the tree is in bloom, the flowers are what give it the distinctive blue look. The Crown has vibrant flowers that completely cover the tree, and often litter the ground below. It has been noted that there are a variety of Cerulean Crown's on the new continent, some with varying hues of blues and deep purples.

Albeit relatively rare within the forest. A few single specimen exist within the forest woodlands.

NETTLE BUSH "Sweet Bush"
A dark green needle-like leaves with vibrant pink and purple berries and fuzzy yellow flowers. At first glance, it could be mistaken as a blueberry bush. Found within Deep forests where it is dark and damp.

Artist Conk
A type of inedible mushroom that often grows of tree bark. Can be used for tea.

Fly Amanita
A red to yellow-ish mushroom with a white stem and bumpy warts. It is poisonous.

Button Mushroom
A small white and edible mushroom. Excellent for cooking.

Bioluminescent LichenA type of lichen that has been forcefully mutated by Blight, but exists free from it and exhibits only shadows of Blight behavior. It glows an aquamarine color, visible at night or complete darkness, and found to grow in small patches of forest, or more commonly in caves. Illuminates to the effectiveness of small candles, inferior to glowstone or other proper lighting sources. Not found in dry climates.

Carnivorous Gulper WeedA large plant about six feet tall (two meters) that is similar to a Venus fly trap. Glows softly at night or in complete darkness, illuminates to the effectiveness of small candles, inferior to glowstone or other proper lighting sources. Green in color and with small, somewhat frail spines, the plant eats mostly bugs and small birds that land on its maw. The Gulper Weed attracts its prey by secreting a sweet smelling sticky paste onto the the base of its maw. It is possible that in rare conditions, a Gulper Weed could get large enough to pose a threat to a child or even a grown man, though this is unlikely. The “honey” the Gulper Weed makes is unique and quite tasty — it can be harvested by cutting the plant down or by carefully scraping the maw of the plant.

Ashen BlightAshen Blight (post-slumber) is different in nature to the ravenous, endlessly thirsty and ever expanding fungus that was found during the height of the Forlorn crisis. It carries numerous parallel qualities, but is different in several important ways: 1.) the fungus grows at a slower rate and will eventually level out, 2.) the fungus can still cause illness but it does not induce telepathic connections to Qlippoth and 3.) the fungus is more mundane to treat and requires less aggressive methods of treatment. Advanced stages of illness induced by the Ashen Blight still induce hallucinations (similar to Ashen Bloom) as well as fever and sweating. Not contagious from person to person.

(Some of these are susceptible to requiring permission from Event staff before being DM'd in events.)

Grey wolf
Gray wolves, or timber wolves, are canines with long bushy tails that are often black-tipped. Their coat color is typically a mix of gray and brown with buffy facial markings and undersides, but the color can vary from solid white to brown or black. A typical canine predator usually found in packs of 6-8 in the surrounding, more patchy areas of the forest. Though regarded as an enemy of the druids of chaos and Jishrimites, they're quite often hunted for this. Not for their fur or other useful parts, but just to kill them.

Squirrels
A small little critter of the forest. A rodent with soft, and usually brown to grey colored fur albeit variable.

Wood Mouse
Another small critter rodent of the forest. It preys on the seeds of planks or trees found in forests. However, may be found as prey for larger carnivorous animals.

The Mime Volan (Event staff permission required. DM only.)
Mime Volans are birds ranging in 1ft to 1.5ft in height, which have feathers that are off-white with brown, yellow, and black speckles. Males possess a large black gular sac on their throats that are blown up to attract mates, but also produce a poisonous enzyme that can cause temporary blindness and moderate pain, but no real damage. They have an orifice beneath their tongues that projects a stream of the poison, which in doing so deflates their gular sac and renders them unable to do it again until they can produce more. Their wingspan is about 2ft to 2.5ft wide; of which they can launch themselves into the air with a single flap and glide in a similar manner to seagulls. Mime Volans get their name from their ability to very closely simulate sounds, or voices, of other creatures. They attribute this ability to their enlarged Syrinxes, which allow for a wider range of sounds.

Tortora
A strange woodland tortoise, thriving in areas with fungi and insects. A bark like shell surrounds it with fungi and grass that grow on it, which consequently belongs to the diet of this tortoise as well as any fruit found in the forest.

The Traveler-Beetle
The traveler-beetles live in massive colonies and are often found when someone stumbles upon one of their 'paths'. Like large ant colonies, they form long paths of traffic, made up of hundreds of individual beetles. They clear these paths of debris and cut down anything that may grow on it. They live in nests, to which they carry everything they find in their path. They build these nests on top of rocky outcrops and look very much like termite hills. These beetles do not have the ability to fly. However, once every year, they spin a cocoon around themselves and when they hatch, they all fly out at the same time. Not just the one nest, but all nests simultaneously, searching to spread themselves as far and wide as possible. Most of them die without finding a good spot, however, and a lot of them become food for other creatures.

Giant Spiders (Notify event staff before using. DM only)
Both Forest spiders and Cave spiders can be found within the Garden of Jishrim. A creature most prized by the present Jishrimite druids and worshipped as the prime creature associated with their god.

Forest Spider
Maxing out at around 40 inches tall, these are the largest of the spiders. Brown, grey and black hairs cover their thickly-built body, with a patch of urticating bristles on their abdomen. The females are a smidgen larger than the males, though the difference is subtle enough to be missed by all but the most expert spider examiner. Its venom glands secrete a paralytic toxin that renders animals under 10lbs immobile. To a humanoid, one bite creates the effect of a potion of slowness. More than six bites in a space of 24 hours can be lethal, and Halflings suffer twice the potency. It possesses many large silk glands which remain in a state of production for nearly a week after its death.

Cave Spider
Smaller than their brown cousins, the cave spiders rarely grow past the height of 30 inches. They are armoured in hairless black chitin that shines with a blue-green tint. They have spindly legs and a thin frame that emphasises brutal, foot-long fangs. The females dwarf the males, that often stop growing before they reach 10 inches in any direction. Its eyes are ultra-sensitive to light and a sudden torch flare can momentarily blind them. Its venom glands are larger than those of the forest spider, and its toxin can kill a cow within five minutes. It is almost always lethal to humans, unless an antidote is immediately administered. Its silk glands are small and the silk they produce is of poor quality.

Arbori (Event staff permission required. DM only.)
Hunkered tree-like husks of birch, oak or darkwood, these creatures have skin as pale as snowwhite and dark as a shadowed grove. Their sizes range from 4ft - 13ft tall, making up for their thin frames. As food is difficult to come by, not many are wide at all. Dark ridges that crawl up their legs, body and arms will mimic the look of rough bark, but flesh can till peek through beneath the upper-skin. Their legs and arms are long and spindly- often seen harmless when swaying as they stand still. The ends of their branches curve as hands would, finger-nails crooked and long, the easier to grasp with. A few of them have dents, here and there, on the centers of their bodies or faces- places where they allowed small creatures- birds, squirrels- to burrow into them for false shelter.. right before snatching them up to eat. They have little black eyes to the sides and their eyelids are similar to their skin, often closed when they are luring prey. They also have two small slits for a nose and a carved mouth full of teeth to consume carnivorous food with. A few have horns on top of their heads or shoulders that take on the appearance of smaller extending branches.

Fay (Event staff permission required. DM only.)
These small flying creatures have a vaguely humanoid shape with a minute body that ranges in size from five to seven inches in height. They have small mouths and small noses, but their angular eyes are far larger proportionally to their body than a human or elf’s being roughly double in size. They have pupil-less eyes and their eyes are mostly completely green, though variations and mutations do exist with various colors.

Fey have two sets of wings colored like a butterflies, a major set and minor. The major wings stretch about a foot from wingtip to wingtip, while the minor wings about eight inches from wingtip to wingtip. The minor wings have hanging tips that stretch down past the the legs of the creature. The wings coloration is dependent upon the environment the Fey reside in, most common are blues, reds, purples and greens. The coloration seems to be adapted against blending in and to draw as much attention as possible to them.

Woodland Wendigos (Event staff permission required. DM only.)
The height of the Woodland Wendigo typically ranges between 3 to 5 feet, slightly shorten the average human but their weight doesn’t reach anywhere near the human averages. Most Wendigos making out at 65 lbs (4.7 st) when around 5 ft tall making them fairly light creatures. The beasts have a unique skull, from their jaw and teeth which tend to be pushed out a slightly more than normal and tend to be sharper, some described as razor like, others more needle like. They also have strange bone protrusions expelling from the beasts temples that resemble that of a modern day Elk. Other strange aspects to the beast are its near lipless mouth and sunken eyes, both adding to the over all fear factor that the beasts hold. There are also not many difference between female and male Wendigo, though females are found much less often as the males hunt. When a female is found the primary difference is within the bone protrusions from the skull. Females tend to have much smaller and stunted ‘anklers’, some having little more than nubs on the side of their heads others none at all.

More to be added..

As of currently, the forest has no major power controlling it. It is ripe for the taking with its own challenge.

The forest is beholden to the powers of Jishrim, and as such the region is considered holy ground to a cult of Jishrimites. Taking on the following effect:
The Garden: The woodland around the Garden is peculiar, long swathes of webbing coats the trees and the light that shines through the canopy takes on a faint red hue. Plantlife warps slightly, such as leaves becoming red and flowers growing twice as large with odd numbers of petals, ferns becoming more like feathers. Fungi grows two to three times as large. Animals venturing into the area take on mutations like extra eyes or limbs, or darkening in colour to be black with red eyes. Individuals who enter the area will distort, perhaps extra eyes or their teeth becoming that of a random animal, and sometimes feeling slightly taller as if they elongate. These effects are up to the player. Upon leaving the radius, everything will return to a normal state within an hour.
Please rp this accordingly if you enter or DM within the region.

No building unless brought to and approved by the owner(s). That being me, Jase and Fizzydrinks

Once you enter the region you are IC and any movements you take are also IC. Unless in the exception that you're there to build or to DM.

Do not explore oocly.

I.E: If you find yourself at a trap that makes you fall several meters into sharp metal spikes, RP it accordingly. It is IC.

Don't metagame or powergame. King's law applies.

There is no such thing.
