- Lana's Journey Around The Continent -
Read all about her travels, as if you're there!

Lana, student at Frostwarts, has read so many stories in the books that she's become inspired to go out and find her own tale. She is traveling the entire continent. People are free to tag along with her, but not all of us are able to. Yet, we might want to know what she's up to and what new adventures have happened in foreign parts we don't even know the names of!

Lana accommodates just that, by sending incredible stories over to Frostwarts every week.

From here on out, we can keep up with Lana, by reading the weekly released books that Lana sends to Kublai.
Read all about what has happened to Lana the past IC week, by reading the newly released books the moment they're added to the library.

Come to Frostwarts' library, find the "Places & Locations" section and read the latest edition of "Around The Continent"

OOC:
Wake's series of "Around the Continent" is an invaluable set of books that every self-respecting Alteran roleplayer should have read. The way Wake interweaves cultural lore with the city's architecture and the (religious) inclination of each city, along with their history, makes you feel like it is real. It is as if all these towns, that were made by separate players, were actually made by one single mastermind. Wake brings our history to life.

Current Collection:
Saturday - 16th of May - Around The Continent Pt. I
Lana leaves the school and starts her journey by exploring Halbed. She spends some time describing the Sangrian customs in great detail. Then it's off to Kharuz-Korum, what will she find within the King's Mountain? She then travels in the most Northern reaches still to find Stoltfar, where she meets the Strands and discovers the power of the town's folk.

Saturday - 23rd of May - Around The Continent Pt. II
Lana visits Aeroch Rimtar to gaze upon the last remaining airship: The Stormbringer. A small boat-ride away leads her to Aeroch Rimtar, where she meets with the Dwarven Prophet-King himself, coming eye to eye with spiritual legends. She finishes this book with her journey through the snowy streets of Kalstaat's Queensport, meeting the king and queen there.

Saturday - 30th of May - Around The Continent Pt. III
Lana travels from Queensport to Blackstone, the hold of Hawklight. Where she delves into the wonders of its architecture and oddities of its culture. She then continues through the bountiful forests of Oren, gaining access to all the tomes there. Acknowledging the Kaltic culture of Oren, she then crosses Kalstaat's border and arrives into Bárental. The town has recently become independent, though Lana notices how the Kaltic culture is still thickly present. She finally arrives in Haven and tells of the legacy of Anhald there.

Saturday - 6th of June - Around The Continent Pt. IV
Lana takes an interesting route, going forth and backwards again, to pass by Natri'Evar, The Rift, Thorne and Eastwatch. She writes about Blackrush, but wasn't able to visit due to the town being ravaged by a figment. Her view on The Nether from her age old background and experience with Metaphysics, that she writes about while she visits The Rift, is an interesting one to read about.

Saturday - 13th of June - Around The Continent Pt. V
Lana is in awe by the Asrakosian culture. What unique things did she find in Astrakhan that makes her want to write two more books about it? Traveling on to the Compendium, Lana finds the will to write another book solely on this town of knowledge. Her three day stay at Bol'tn'thar were the best days of her life, find out why by reading this week's edition of Around The Continent!

I decided to promote I am Wake 's efforts, as he writes about this epic journey. Come read the 'magazine' every saturday, as Lana sends another one over to Kublai. As such, the magazines will come out a few days later than they arrive to make sure Frostwarts can keep publishing them on the saturdays each week.

Sorry, been neglecting this. Instead of putting em up every week still, I've just added the remaining 5 books to the library straight away. Enjoy!
