Rules
1. Read the lore and pass the application process
This rule is the same as the Makani one, as it's a very important rule for application based races. Understand where your character comes from and how they act. The Half-spawn are different from the other races in that they present a mix of traits between two different races. Be aware of what your character is capable of, and what they aren't.
2. This is a newly made race, fresh off an isolated island.
Currently all Half-spawn are coming from one area, though this is subject to change as time passes. This rule will be updated when enough time has passed for more integration to happen. Be aware of this when writing your application.
3. Eark'zian is still a sacred tongue to them, and kept to blood or trusted.
This part of the culture is closely held, and shouldn't be taught without serious trust invested into whoever would be learning. This is another from the Makani rules, but it's good to keep it in mind.
4. Contact me if you're playing a first generation Half-spawn.
Writing about a race that's just been created is difficult. To cut down on confusion, contact me and I can give more clarification on the first moments of your character's life and their creation. This is only for the first wave, because as time goes on there will be other generations with wider backstories to be told.
5. Rules subject to change as clarification and roleplay happen.
When bringing a new race into being, it's good to be flexible and allow for change in rules based on what comes up in roleplay. Currently, rules are rather bare-bones, but they are subject to be added to and changed as time goes on, or as clarification is needed.
