The scroll is nailed over the length of a pillar, from top to floor. All handwritten, it contains the following message:

"Men hide the pain of living through casting a veil of misplaced joy over their apparent lives. It is for this reason that men ask each other how they are doing, so they can cast light on the bright side of their in face miserable lives. If you cast enough light on that which is rare, it seems to appear it is the only thing there is. But what when all lights go out, and the eyes of men settle to the dark? What when all they see is their pain, and the rarity brought to light fades into a needle in a haystack of dark and foul matter? It is then that men conjur hope, a mere memory of the light, a shade, a ghost, an illusion. This is the reason why Men are weak.

Elves face the pain of their long lives with elegance and dare ponder the meaning of it all. They retrieve comfort from nature, as if it is there to comfort them. The Elves detract satisfaction in helping other living things to prosper. They choose these things by hand, yet claim they are indifferent. They take for granted that it is worth a lifetime to watch a tree sprout from a single acorn. While they are so focussed on the future of things, they overlook the past. They repeatedly make the same mistakes of the past, over and over again. And they overlook the present, as in their eyes, a hundred years is but a blink of an eye in the life of an Elf. For this reason, the Elves are weak.

Caparii spend their lives in servitude to that which grows around them. Yet, contrary to the Elves, they do not hold themselves in high esteem. Their lives are set upon the will of a God that has left them long ago. The Goddess that created them. Caparii might stray from this life and choose to live as others. In both ways, their lives will be forsaken and one can find little worth of it. For this reason, Caparii are weak.

Earthspawn wander the world with bones and stones, muscles to grind any foe. What is their life worth when there is no real foe to be bested? These foul creatures seek out new foes, ever since they strayed from their original purpose; to serve Queen Grief in her war of dominion over Altera. They were once a great weapon among Greylings and Corruption. Now they are a left-over on an empty plate. Unneeded, unnecessary, otiose. Without a true foe, they seek purpose in life by seeking foes. They start fights and bring violence wherever they go. They cannot be contained nor controlled and for this reason, they are weak.

It is in Dwarves that anyone should lay their trust. We are as ancient as the rock you walk upon and as lasting as the Gods. Forged by the hand of Korog, we are sons of Zustid. A people that has seen hardship and fought through it to achieve greatness. We remember the past and do not turn to walk the same life-path twice. Our settlements have sprung up all around Altera and our forges still produce the finest of weaponry. We have purpose with or without war, for Korog is our God and He is neutral. We are keepers of the balance of the energy in Altera. If any overtakes another, we put it back in place. Like chiseling a stone to make it fit exactly in the wall, among all those other stones. We endure. We've seen the days of glory and rebuilt them after each defeat we've suffered. We understand the pains of life and acknowledge the good as well as the bad. Through our history, we know things do not last.

Yes, if any race has a right to live, it is the Dwarves.
For Korog, King and Kin."

A rebuttal, pasted onto it's lower half. Once more in an elegant cursive:

"You speak so highly of dwarves, yet where are they? You who speak to flourish in ever lasting communities. Your time has past and yet you hold not even Korog's blessing for your King. Jarret, the King blessed by Korog, was the only one to be of merit. Yet you cast him aside, much against Korog's own value of never needing to do something twice. Your faith is blind into a God who had smitten down your own people in their last attempt of creating a Dwarven nation. This is Thrice now you try, surely past Korog's word. A spit in his face. Through this frailty and lack of potential, Dwarves are weak."

Soo, elves are bad for living long lives, repeating the mistakes of the past and being indifferent?

Quite honestly, Raph has his own problems and he thinks Azgir should work on this first.

Upon walking to the Message Board with some of the Onyx Flag, looking for something useful, and scoffs upon seeing it.
" .. Burn this piece of crap. " Said to the side of a Initiate.
