The child was brought home, her father given a burial with no body and only his blade. A monster lurks in the forests, waiting to pick off those who stray too far. Hunters are advised not to go out in search of it, and the Kaiser is said to be discussing and arranging for a group to head out and put a stop to it with a bounty of 5,000 on proof of its corpse to be shared between those who succeed.
