- THE SHADE -

Overview
A shade is an apparition of violent, or malicious intent. They could be killed in a violent manner or they could simply have been an overly violent or cruel individual in life. They are stuck in a cycle of continuously seeking the harm or torment of a living mortal, regularly seeking out ways to haunt and terrorise, or imbue fear, in an individual. There is at no point in time a change in this cycle, and they must be dealt with sooner rather than later.
The more fear a Shade inspires, the stronger it generally becomes, and the power does not dwindle if an individual suddenly stops being afraid of it. The stronger one gets, the more it is able to do, and to be killed by a Shade will make it a force to be reckoned with.

Shades have both anima and mens.

Abilities
A particularly powerful Shade can scratch and pull, or push, an individual in its domain, and manage to directly harm them whilst holding no physical form of its own. They are absolutely capable of killing anyone who lingers in their own domain.

Location
Shades are confined to an area of influence - As well as an item. Should an item a Shade is trapped within be within a house, the entire house becomes its domain. Taking the item out into the wilderness will not grant it the span of the wilderness to play in however, but it will be confined to an area around it instead.
Whilst in this location it is bound to, it can manipulate any object inside - Be this opening and closing doors, throwing knives or objects around, or shrieking enough to rattle windows.
