To be and to have. Not to have it taken.
It would be his.
The God of Undeath was born in wake of the last moments of life. Formed from the essence of corpses, decay and damned souls. Upon his first steps, he saw creatures of life all around him- precious and thriving under the beauty of Shalherana. ..And then saw as the Daughter of Death took the life from their grasp into a realm he could not reach, never to return. It was then he grew bewildered and angry for this was not balance in his eyes. With what power he could muster, he began to steal the damned souls awaiting punishment in Limbo and lured them to bare corpses in the mortal realms of the Sorrowlands. They rose anew, to tread his land and spread his desires, with no deadline upon their lives. He let them freely roam, then. They were his precious creations, not those of living flesh. They would live forever more, never fearing to be forgotten in time. He was content, then, for this was to be his balance.
Those who follow Skraag are quite different in class: rich, poor, young and old. There is no defined standing of whom they are or what they do in the public eye. With their worship, it is said they are granted a chance among his realm upon their deaths- protected in undeath, for there would be no place for them in the Afterlife.
