Star Citizen: Hyyyyype thread

Yo, any one out there got Star Citizen? It's a game I'm super hyped for. It started as a crowd funded kickstarter thing and now it's made nearly $100,000,000 For those that don't know, seriously check it out, anything I say won't do it justice. It is (or will be) a fully open universe Space Simulator game where you can earn a living doing whatever you want in a living breathing universe. And it's beautiful... like... really beautiful...

Anyhoo If you already have the game, what ship(s) do you have? What do you plan on doing when the full game is released? Are you part of an organisation yet? If not I'm sure I can... heheh help out with that... heheheh. *cough* Daedalus Shipping Corp. Recruiting *cough*.

I'm currently the proud owner of a Sabre and a Retaliator Bomber and in case it wasn't obvious, my allegiance lies with the DSC.

I've been looking at it for a while now, Is it worth the 45$ price? also how do you go about getting new ships, is it micro transactions?

I backed this game a long time ago. Got myself an Anvil F7C Hornet. At the moment I haven't played it too much as I'm currently awaiting the FPS to be released alongside the PTU first release.
Unless I were to get a load of friends to crew with in the game I don't see myself flying any big ships. So I'll probably be starting off as a Merc-Bodyguard to hire for transport ships.

Fair enough, I'm looking forward to the fps too, I can't imagine it's too far away with the social module being released last month. Yeah escort is more or less what I'm planning to do too in the sabre. My retaliator's gonna need a crew too if you wanted to crew larger ships, like I said, if you need an organisation, We're recruiting!

Also @SpartanDory yes it's definitely worth the 45 bucks, In my opinion it's still worth the ridiculous amount of money I've spent on it! XD All the other ships will be available ingame once the game comes out for ingame currency you earn from looting, transport missions etc. at the moment, you buy your first ship and then you can rent other ships with a temporary currency you earn from playing the arena commander module. Or you can buy the other ships with real money at the moment just to drum up some funds for the game. ( It's definitely not pay to win, the designer's have always said: "you aren't buying a ship, you're being given a gift by us for supporting the game, just to give everyone a different experience when the persistent universe is released."

it is/kind of isn't out yet, you can walk around your hangar and a gradually expanding area outside your hangar in arc corp and you can dogfight in a multiplayer game mode in single seater ships. the first person shooter module and multicrew ships are imminently about to be released. The persistent universe is on it's way too!

Been playing some PTU 2.0 myself, in 'single player' mode. (Any other ships are therefore A.I.)
It's alot of fun, beside the freezes, crashes and other glitches- which is to be expected.
In my opinion, the most amazing thing is the seamless, no loading screen transitions between everything you do.
But apart from that! It's a lot of fun. ^_^

The Public Test Universe, it's a preview program yeah. And the latest patch is 2.0.0.G
F was stable crash wise, but people couldn't log in and now G has big server lag.
As they roll out patches they sometimes add more people to the preview-test. Alas, no more invites with the latest patch.
But at this rate I feel 2.0 will be out soon.

retaliator and sabre, i know the retaliator is, sabre is still concept but it's single seater so it wouldn't surprise me if they rushed it out.
