Since the /character remove[attribute/skill/focus] commands burn EXP when used, if I were to use said commands to essentially wipe my character sheet clean and go back to square one, would my EXP be reduced to 0/0, or is there a minimum I would hit first?

I believe their is some perminant number built into the char sheet as some are shown spent before you start spending.
