The supernatural world beyond our own fears nothing greater than the ascendance of man beyond his intended place.

The breaking of his chains.

The
Truth is a matter of slaves and masters.

No more.

The Ashen Truth is the driving ideology within the four isles of Aschefalle,

The group itself carries varying degrees of radicalism and debate of morality and tactic, but ultimately a thriving sense of brotherhood and comfort in shedding the reaching arm of the divine keep the Truth together. The world outside remains hostile to their views, and a constant tension with the faithful of Altera lingers more often than not. While one can live within the newly bound country without holding the same ideals, the fervent nature of thought would find them outcast sooner rather than later.

The
Truth is all, and to some elder members it is everything.

Formally there is no strict organization, as is befitting of the land itself. Any are free to find their voice - and any are free to respond in turn. The nature of their work is not that of forced oaths, all involved wishing it so. Naturally, the word of those more experienced carry a greater weight by virtue of social norms, but no formal law enforces this.

Five founders are recognized within the
Ashen Truth's history:
Sigmund von Hallon, remembered and mourned
Richard Varyn
Wolfgang von Harrister
Reyne von Alder
Clement of The North

Although there is no powerful drive to recruit, those who wish to find the
Truth for themselves join the ranks through time and trust, asked or asking to learn.
