The Grey Lady has offered me an alternative method for freeing a wraith and allowing it to return to the afterlife where it belongs.
Currently people have been destroying the spirits anchor, which causes an explosion which harms any stood too close and destroys the wraiths soul, an action deemed barbaric, unnecessary and unacceptable by the Grey Lady, the god who judges where you spend your afterlife. So perhaps think twice when there is the option to use another method.
The reason for a wraiths being here is usually that of a brutal, violent death without proper burial. This keeps them restless, so once their body is buried properly with rites and all, they will leave for good. A marking for the grave is required or else it would just be a pit. If their name is known put it on the marking.
