Krummi has returned and invites all of you to have a big celebrational miningsession with him. We gather at the Horgar Hall in Tahkul-Rimtar and from there Krummi will lead everyone to a point in the sorrows map from where we start.{This event is does not welcome aggressive or violent roleplay of any sort.}
Get your pickaxes ready and your torches lit, because we’re having a mining competition!
NO PVP is allowed during this event, including the way towards the place in the map. Even people who do not join the event are not allowed to pvp any of the contestants and will be punished if they do.
How does it work?
-Contestants brings their own tools to the starting point.
-Contestants head into the same mineshaft as the clock starts.
-From there, contestants will dig in random chosen direction.
-Contestants will have 45 minutes to mine whatever they can.
-Contestants may mine in the shaft and any nearby tunnel/caverns, but must make it back to their loot chest within 45 minutes. Too late = excluded from contest.
-After time runs out, the contestant with the most loot mined wins 10% of everyone else’s loot.
-Contestants may keep what remains after taken the 10% for the winner.
How is it scored?
- Cobblestone/Stone - 1 Point
- Redstone dust - 2 points
- Lapis gem - 3 points
- Coal - 4 points
- Iron - 16 points
- Gold - 35 points
- Diamond - 50 points
No teams will be allowed for obvious reasons. Everyone is on his / her own.
Use of enchanted gear is allowed for this event.
Remember: Although this is a sorrows-based event, it is NON-PVP, so don’t come packing any weapons or armor that you don’t plan to use against monsters.
