Hierarchy:
The Guard is divided into three subdivisions of peacekeepers, juggernauts, and dragoons. Peace Keepers make up the bulk of the guard and are armed with one handed swords, round shields, and some of them also carry arbalests; they wear chainmail with a tabard and gambeson, and a kettle helmet. Juggernauts make up the heavy division of the Cavaliers, they are adorned in full suits of plate mail, decorated in the colors of Tambry; they carry tower shields, flanged maces and or double edged arming swords. The Juggernauts are used as the city's medieval SWAT team, ending civil unrest, executing raids, and dealing with extremely dangerous suspects. Coursers are quick, highly mobile units, made to traverse the rooftops and gain tactical advantages over the city's adversaries; designed to be expert sharpshooters, they are armed with a long bow and two sets of barbed and blunted arrows, they wear lightweight boiled leather scale armor with layers of cloth including a signature hood. All guards answer to either the Guard Captain, but the word of the city's Chancellor, Wollston Cerendor trumps any order given.

If you wish to join the Tambry Cavaliers, find the guard captain and he will evaluate you and if all goes well, you will be inducted as a conscript where you will train for the specific division you want to be part of.
