Passive of Visage

[ x ] They can change their eye colour to be any other natural colour applicable to their race at will. This does not replace or remove other effects to the eyes (Vyre, Spiritblessed).
[ x ] Emotions and thoughts become somewhat hazy to those looking in. Thus making it somewhat harder for mages to read and Lover Vyres to feed. (It is still possible, but takes more time/concentration.)
[ x ] Their eyes become like a mirrored surface at will, reflecting their surroundings and obscuring exactly what they’re looking at.
[ x ] They have an easier time remembering details, and paying attention to them, +1 Awareness
[ x ] In darker places they opt to become partly transparent, ends of their clothing dispersing into smoke. They appear as normal if light is shone upon them, clothing unaltered.

Azarin Vyre
Darkvision:
At night, those of Azarin can see as if they have night vision even in rooms devoid of all light. It is as if the moon guides them, and they can be particularly perceptive as a result.
Grace:
They are a little quicker on their feet, their reflexes faster and more honed, and they look elegant whilst they do so.
Flaw:

They can quite literally taste sickness or unpleasantries in the blood of another. Animals are now completely off the table for they taste foul, and they have quite poor vision in daylight.

Artifacts:
NAME: Sand of Obscurity [8}
DESCRIPTION: A small black hourglass filled with grey sand. It is no more than three inches in height and can be carried or tied to a necklace, but should be in the possession of the attuned to work.
PASSIVE: The attuned is more aware of their surroundings. Within 5 block radius they are able to more or less accurately perceive movement around them, even if it is out of their field of vision.
[ABILITY - DISPERSE]: Twice per day the attuned can disperse into a black smoke, along with 50 lbs of carried non-living material. It takes three emotes to fully change into and back out of the smoke form. While in smoke form the attuned can move as quickly as they would otherwise but are as hindered as normal smoke would be. This is not an instant ability and the transition is obvious, though there is no point where the attuned could strike someone without being struck themselves. The smoke form cannot last longer than 10 minutes IC.

NAME: Splinter [2]
DESCRIPTION: A shattered mirror of two parts, with each shard about two inches long, one inch wide, and razor sharp.
EFFECT: Each shard can be used to see through to the other piece - provided both parts are in the same material realm and in the possession of their respective attuned. The cost, however, is that the fragment will cut into the skin of the palm and seemingly take a slither of blood as payment. Only light may pass through the linked mirrors.

Tier I


ILLUSION I [3]
Divine: Visage.
Tier: 1
Action: Prayer.
Cost: 1 SP
Duration: 30 minutes or until touched.
Spell: The caster creates a small illusion that is no larger than a dog, capable of emitting basic sounds but disperses into smoke upon being touched (or touching a living thing) by anything aside from the caster themselves. It has the ability to give off no more light than a candle, regardless of if it is an illusory campfire. Up to two illusions may be active at a time.

SUGGESTION [4]
Divine
: Visage.
Tier: 1
Action: Prayer.
Cost: 1SP
Duration: 5 minutes.
Spell: The caster plants a small idea in the mind of another, if it is too unlike them to think of doing it then they will dismiss it but it has the potential to become something of their own (this is heavy on the target and how they wish to proceed). This spell can almost be used to give a suggestion of emotions to a target, a flare of anger or a touch of sadness. They are fleeting, but enough if used in the right circumstances to become their own until they rationalise it.

WATCHFUL GAZE
Divine
: Visage.
Tier: 1
Action: Prayer, and the marking of a location in white chalk.
Cost: 2SP
Duration: Three days.
Spell: The caster marks out an area with the symbol of an eye at least as big as a palm, and they may close their own eyes to focus for several minutes and see through that symbol. They see in a black and white spectrum, but are unable to understand words spoken or hear anything. They may focus on it whenever they like, but the mark will fade after three days and must be recast.

MIRROR MIMICRY [26]
Divine
: Visage.
Tier: 1
Action: Prayer and the touch of the mirror in question.
Cost: 2SP
Duration: One week.
Spell: The caster wills the mirror to listen, and then sound back what is spoken as if a pulse every 15, 30, or 60 minutes until the mirror is destroyed(up to one OOC week). It can be a sound like a screech, or a short sentence - The only requirement is that it must be directly copied as if it has ears so you must be the one to speak or cast it when someone else is speaking .Only three mirrors can be active at any one time. Must have the mirror in hand when ‘recording’. Any sound played back is unable to mimic supernatural/magical effects (such as an alluring sound that makes a player do x, or the effects of an Arachian bat, etc). It copies what is able to be heard by all, physically.

Tier II

LEXICON [1]
Divine
: Visage.
Tier: 2
Action: Prayer.
Cost: 2SP
Duration: One hour.
Spell: The caster whispers a short prayer to Visage, and grants themselves the ability to understand all spoken words regardless of the tongue used for a period of time. They cannot use this ability to learn the language, though may pick up on the occasional words and know what languages are spoken outside of the spell.

SHROUD OF THE WATCHER
Divine
: Visage.
Tier: 2
Action: Prayer and touch for 30 minutes.
Cost: 3SP
Duration: Permanent, until a new location is made.
Spell: With a kneel and verbal prayer, over half an hour the Blessed wills an area of a 15 block radius to become veiled with a dense sea fog, seemingly endless once entered, over a period of two OOC days. Any entering this area are unable to be detected in any capacity, as if they are both there, but not, but also someone else. All colours become a muted black and white, whispers sound from each direction amongst the sound of waves, and those blessed of visage may control what is said. Mirrored surfaces float and linger without walls, and bookshelves hold books held in any common library that are publicly accessible. These books cannot be removed from this location, and can only be read by those of Visage. Should this be cast again elsewhere, the old one fades.
This spell has a cooldown of 2 weeks OOC if it is not in an existing region, and you are able to contact event staff to request a pre-built area be added into the world for you.

ILLUSION II [3]
Divine
: Visage.
Tier: 2
Action: Prayer.
Cost: 2SP
Duration: 30 minutes or until dispersed.
Spell: The caster can create an illusion of something no larger than a horse, capable of basic sounds but also able to give the brief impression of touch before it disperses. This includes the faint sting of a bite or stab, though it will leave no physical wounds. These illusions are capable of giving off as much light as a torch if desired. Up to two illusions may be active at a time, though will disperse into smoke if a more forceful touch is given with a delay of a minute. The caster is able to touch and hold them with no issue.

OBSCURITY
Divine
: Visage.
Tier: 2
Action: Prayer.
Cost: 3SP
Duration: 30 minutes.
Spell: The caster wills an area to be obscured by a dense sea fog up to the size of the average tavern. Those within struggle to make out the faces or voices of those around them, the caster included, but may be able to recognise those they are close to by way of colours or words spoken. The caster may whisper a single sentence that will be repeated throughout the fog from multiple sources in voices unrecognisable, and beyond these whispers the sounds of the ocean are distracting enough to muddle other conversation. The fog fades after 30 minutes. It is dense but players can see one another up to a maximum of four blocks away. Can not be used if it is nowhere near the coastline (ie middle of the continent).

Tier III

PUPPETEER [3]
Divine
: Visage.
Tier: 3
Action: Prayer.
Cost: 4SP
Duration: 30 minutes.
Spell: The caster selects a target within line of sight, and then limpens and falls into a light slumber so they may temporarily take over the body of the target. The target feels as if they have fallen asleep for the duration. In this state, the caster sees through their eyes, hears through their ears, and is able to do basic controls like lift items and shake hands. It cannot be used to violently stab someone. They are a little janky and could be described as moving as if they are a puppet on strings. They do not take or know the thoughts of the target in this spell. The spell ends if their original body is disturbed or their host is harmed.

EVASION [4]
Divine
: Visage.
Tier: 3
Action: Prayer.
Cost: 2SP
Duration: A half second.
The caster spends their power to charge an empowered evasive ability. Their body is engulfed in heavy smoke, distorting their appearance. They accelerate immediately to a sprinting speed, moving in any direction for a maximum of 5 blocks. Divine magics protect the caster from inertia, and they exit this state with the same momentum they entered it in. They are not invulnerable in this state, their body is still physically there. The caster must decide a single block to land on, and may not change its course after casting the spell. It takes about a half second to complete the evasion

ELUSIVE TOME
Divine
: Visage.
Tier: 3
Action: Prayer, and the offering of something regarding the identity of another. (hair, fabric, possessions, so on)
Cost: 3SP
Duration: Permanent.
Spell: The caster finds they have access to a large tome, pulling it from thin air in exchange for the offering of choice. They may whisper into the tome for it to write down the words spoken, and any blessed with access to this spell has access to the very same tome in order to share knowledge or words between one another. The book cannot be read nor touched by anyone not of Visage. The book can be accessed by multiple sources at the same time.
Note: Upon writing in this book, or accessing this book, ask to be added to the forum conversation to log it.

ELUSIVE OBJECT [1]
Divine
: Visage.
Tier: 3
Action: Prayer, and the offering of an item from the following: Book, Dagger, Vial, Coinpurse, Mask. The first cast of this spell consumes the item, making this item the one to be revealed in future casts.
Cost: 5SP
Duration: Permanent, can be re-cast with a new item once every two OOC weeks.
Spell: The caster whispers a prayer and wills their chosen item out of an area of shadows to remain a solid item for the next half hour. Must be out of a shadowy area, including under sleeves or in coats, but takes half a minute to form in the hand fully.

Universal Spells

PURIFY [104]
Action: Prayer and the holding of a container of water.
Cost: 1SP
Duration: One day.
Spell: The caster blesses the equivalent to one cup’s worth of water and changes it’s qualities depending on the deity worshipped. It must remain in a container, and contact with said container must be held for at least ten seconds to fully turn its contents. The contents may be poured into another container but will turn back into water the next day. This cannot be stockpiled, for any liquid will revert back after the duration.

Jishrim, Skraag or Visage: It becomes blood that is able to be consumed by any Vyre to the same standard as a healthy individual, and is also able to burn any Mage, and any individual who worships not of the Pantheon with the same heat and effect of boiling water. The burns shall heal over the span of three days. Has been known to repel supernatural entities.

ILLUMINATE
Action
: An uttering of; “Visage, let them hear me"
Cost: 1SP
Duration: Five minutes.
Spell: A halo of light forms behind the caster’s head, the colour thematic to their deity. For up to five minutes, those in RP chat range will be able to hear them clearly (providing they are not behind a wall or so on) and consider them paying attention to. They may instil a faint sense of Calm, Fear, or Courage within the audience.
Note: Should a higher tier blessed cast this spell in the same radius, it will over-ride the lower one.

VISION
Action
: Prayer and touch of the target.
Cost: 1SP
Duration: One minute.
Spell: The caster wills the vague imagery of something themed to their own divine into the minds eye of another. This may be blinked away or shaken off if considered too disturbing, but is more akin to an unwanted thought or brief daydream than a forced visual.

DIVINATION [2]
Action
: Prayer, and ritual/offering themed to the Divine.
Cost: 3SP
Duration: As long as it takes to ask a question and receive an answer.
Spell: With a ritual based around their chosen divine(such as lighting candles or incense, giving an offering, etc), a blessed may ask a single simple question - And are given a sign of some kind in return. This is limited to once per OOC week and may take several days for a response. At the lowest tier, it can be very vague and the response may not be given, verbal, or clear that one was granted at all. As the blessed grows higher in tier, the responses may become clearer.

DIVINE WORD [7]
Action
: The prayer of, “[Divine], carry my words.”
Cost: 1SP per rank.
Duration: Must be asked and answered in the same day.
Spell: The caster is able to send a word or sentence depending on the rank it is used, which become available as your rank higher in divine tier. It can travel any distance, and the target will hear it spoken in their mind with the voice of the caster. The caster must know the name and face of the target they commune with.
Rank I - T1
The caster can send one single word to their target. They cannot be given a word in response.
Rank II - T2
The caster can send up to ten words to their target, and they can hear a response of up to as many in response.
Rank III - T3
The caster can send a far more cohesive message, and they can hear one in return. The word limit here is one single PM, so whatever you can fit into that box.

FEAST OF THE GODS
Action
: Prayer. They must keep their hands on the location on which to summon it for one minute.
Cost: 1-3SP
Duration: One hour.
Spell: The caster summons forth a platter of food that can feed up to three people. It can be cast upon an existing surface (table, for example), or the floor. Eating divine food will restore some energy, ease minor pain, and give a sense of warmth and comfort from the divine in question. Once the spell ends, everything flickers away.
This spell can be cast at 1SP per person, up to three.
Visage; Feast of Whispers
Plates and glasses form of cracked glass, though smooth enough to act as if they are unbroken, with utensils of simple silver. It forms upon a type of thin sea fog that only disperses when the spell ends. Foods from all cultures are found on this table, not sitting to any one type. The drinks vary.

Duration: C
Spell: With an offering and divine magic of the divine, the Blessed may contact them and ask a single question. If the question appeals to their favor, there may come a reply with a sign, phrase or omen. This can be used once a week. The player must contact the God Event Staff at least a week prior to using it so they may know what question is being asked.

Duration: One minute
Spell: Enact a magical vision that is thematic to your deity to one aware target. They will see it in their minds eye.

Gaseous Poison [6]
Tier: 1
Divine: Alignment Evil
Action: Incantation
Components: S, M
Cost: 1sp
Duration: 24 hours
Spell: Poison a litre vial of liquid with an incantation. Inside, a gaseous poison will form- taking on the color of the Caster’s Deity. The vial can be tossed within a 10b radius, in which it will disperse a gas within a 3b radius of its location. If inhaled, the targets will feel nauseous and mildly poisoned. If it touches the skin, targets will feel an acidic, burning sensation. The effect of the gas lasts for one combat round. The gas becomes expired and loses vigor if not used within 24 hours.

Madness [0]
Tier: 1
Divine: Alignment Evil
Action: Thought
Components: S
Cost: 1sp
Duration: 1 combat round
Spell: Choose a target within speak range. The caster makes a hysterical action that another is forced to display. You laugh, they laugh. One has the ability to laugh, scream, cry, be angry, or fearful. Must have intent on only one person of madness. If there is an attempt at physical harm on the subject, the spell breaks.

Minor Illusion [21]
Tier: 1
Divine: Visage
Action: Incantation
Components: S
Cost: 1sp
Duration: One Minute
Spell: Create a small illusion of your choice within a 10b radius. It will take up a maximum of 1b of space. The illusion carries no light, sound or smell.

Ruin [3]
Tier: 1
Divine: Alignment Evil
Action: Touch

Cost: 1sp
Duration: Permanent
Spell: Touch one object to ruin it with the following effect: break, rust, crack, shatter. Limit: Must be something one can lift or hold. Cannot be anything imbued by Enchantments, Arcane or Divine magic.

Aura of Unease [0]

Divine: Alignment Evil, Neutral
Action: Thought
Components: S, V
Cost: 1sp
Duration: Concentration
Spell: A glow emits around the Caster’s head for the duration of a speech, or held conversation. It can be visually thematic to a color of whichever neutral/evil god they worship. Players around in speak range will feel uneasy and unsettled. Effect doesn’t work on characters feeling extremely violent.

Arcane Glyph Ward [92]

Spell: Embed a glyph of your divine on a small object. Arcane spells cast within a 3 block radius of its placement are forced to roll with an additional DC 10 check for failure. Passive spells are not included. This cannot be used on Artifacts. It works so long as the caster is on the same plane, and not dead. As a ritual, the caster may deactivate this glyph, regardless of proximity.

Earwig [1]

Duration: 15 minutes
Spell: The Caster may select a target in visible speak range and must remain in rp range for the spell to be maintained. They are able to discern what the target hears and says. If the Target succeeds against a DC 14 check, they are able to prevent the Caster from hearing their voice. The Caster continues to hear around themselves or the sounds near the target, causing brief distortion in vertigo if they attempt to listen through both ways.

Gentle Suggestion [12]

Spell: The caster attempts to emotionally manipulate a target by creating a subtle emotion in the targets mind. The target must be within speak range. This can be one of the following - bliss, unease, happiness, sadness, anger, desire, ease, or dispair. Will not work if the target is hostile towards the caster.

Spell: The Caster may send a message of up to 20 words in any language to a single familiar person to you, in the same plane of existence as yourself. They may send a response within the same limitations.

Spell: The caster may temporarily choose to change the current weather in the atmosphere around a region to the following, natural, weather choices: Sunny, Rain, Windstorm, Hail.

Duration: 10 minutes
Spell: The Caster may detect the presence of a magical object or artifact within a 3b radius. If it’s of Divine influence, they may have an inkling of which Divine and a vague idea of what it may do. If it’s of Arcane influence- they are only aware that it is not of Divine make.
