In due time, a god of so many domains is bound to have differing faces. Some take to
his shadows, to the masquerades and others to the seas and the depths.

Their faces are all different, their focuses and themes leaning on different domains or none at all, but ultimately they all serve one god.

The Watcher

Bound to the waves and all that is beneath it, Depth priests represent
the sea and Visage. Depth Priests are perhaps the more open of their faith
and more bound to calm, serene or good-willed actions. Though, as
well-spirited as it may sound, there is also wrath and might to be shown
much akin to the sea.

[Theme 1]
[Theme 2]
| | Description | |

Depth Priests, acutely also known as Seaborn.
Depth Priests are a section of the cult
Reflection's Truth who take to more aquatic
means and representation of worship. Their
ways to reflect the mysterious, serene, calm
yet also the occasional wrathful nature
of the sea.
By nature, Depth priests take to the sea and
will seek to live within it for their whole life
or to live near it. Though being offered many
tools to survive and adapt to life underwater,
most Depth-Priests still have to resurface and
live on the land for a while. At least for the
time being.

Though all priests of the Watcher are secretive
in nature, and are often not found unless they
so choose. It is clear that priests of this subgroup
may be found within the seas. Notable key
details of their presence would be sea fog
or structures, and lights being present underwater
as examples.
Depth-Touched Armor Set
(Produced from Depth-Touched Steel)
More accute descriptions of themselves would
be bound to the coloring and decorations of their
robes or armor. Most such priests wear ocean to
dark blue robes with decorations of scales or
marine life. Furthermore, some may be equipped
with Depth-Touched steel. A sort of steel that
equips its wearers with a means to survive within
the depths for longer periods of time. They may,
like many other worshippers, be found with a
mask.
Though usually just a mask, indistinct from
others, some masks may also be imbued with the
power of the sea and Visage. Granting them the
means to not only breathe underwater, but
to also form a bond with a medium-sized animal of
the sea. Such as a hammer-head shark or Dolphin.

Commonly, such masks are made in the literal
image of life found within the seas.
I.e : An octopus or Dolphin
Though all members of the cult follow a select
number of tenets, including the ones the Watcher
mandates. The Depth-Priests among the other groups
also take to a strict training of their own tenets, bound
only to them.
Being initiated to the cult through them, also having
its own unique take
| Tenets |
⟐ Always seek the perpetuation of serenity.
Heed not blatant chaos, unless it promotes further stability.
⟐ The ends justify the means.
What is for the greater good, be it harmful or good in nature, it must be done. Chaos and order are but tools.
⟐ Heed not the opinions of others.
The world may not always understand us. It will be our place to watch and observe, not to explain.
| Initiation rite |
If a Depth-Priest is leading your initiation rite of passage, you will be expected to show
prowess in the ability to maintain eye-sight and ones breath whilst underwater. To seek out
a worthy offering and find a nearby shrine where you may offer it.
The select Priest will likely opt to train you beforehand. Other cult members are usually also present
to watch.
| Recruitment |
Being recruited may be as easy as walking up to one priest and asking to join.
However, finding a priest of this subgroup may be as hard as it is to hold one's breath. Usually for
more than an hour.
