A walk along the coast and a short prayer in the morning before work, and a prayer in front of the shrine in her basement at night before sleep.

PASSIVES:
Quirks:

- They are able to change their voice at will, sounding different every day if they so desire. Any speech used in a mental way (telepathy, divine word, etc) will use their natural voice.
- They are able to will something in their hands to be read aloud to them or those near, in whispering tones.
Aesthetics:
- At will, sections of their body can take on the appearance of cracked porcelain, though it acts as normal flesh would and provides no benefit.
- They can change their eye color to be any other natural color applicable to their race at will. This does not replace or remove other effects to the eyes (Vyre, Spiritblessed).
Universal:
- [PROVIDENCE] The blessed’s soul is warded by their faith in their Divine. If something tries to possess them, or they’re targeted by an effect that is functionally identical to possession, the blessed may roll a d6 save to resist it. If they roll their tier or lower on the d6, the possession fails and has no effect. They are additionally fully immune to any attempts to lay claim to their soul (in terms of it being trapped, imprisoned, or otherwise by some entity. This is not expected to come up much in RP, but exists for flavor). For curses or afflictions like Vyrism or Spiritblessed, they may resist it outright or optionally roll a possession save against it.
- [SPIRITUAL WEAPON] By ritually praying over a weapon for one hour, the blessed may imbue it with some measure of the divine influence. The weapon will glow with the strength of torchlight in a color thematic to the divine, and intangible foes or foes that are otherwise immune or resistant to attacks from mundane weapons always take some amount of damage from successful attacks with it. Only one weapon may be imbued at a time. For bows, the effect applies to all arrows fired from it.
- [MARTYR] By placing hands to either side of a recent injury and focusing/channeling for a minute the blessed may remove an injury from another and take it upon themselves instead, making their body whole at the cost of their own. This does not replace lost limbs or body parts; it’ll stem the bleeding, but at cost of opening a similarly grievous wound upon the blessed’s limb. It doesn’t apply to conditions like being poisoned, only flesh wounds, and the target must be living for this to work.

ARTIFACTS:
A platinum circlet with engravings depicting the phases of the moon. These engravings have a faint glow under moonlight, but it gives off no light.

Passive: The effects of a mutation on the physical appearance of the wearer (such as changes to the eyes) are reversed, leaving them looking normal. This does not affect divine passives/quirks, or any strengths/weaknesses that come with the mutations.

Active: Once per day, for up to 2 OOC hours, the circlet may summon an illusionary clone of the wearer in their current outfit, which appears to step out from behind them. They move independently of the wearer, and can manipulate small objects no heavier or larger than a filled tankard, but cannot attack or touch other creatures. If struck with great force, they disperse into a cloud of smoke which lingers for a minute.

20/08/2021 - Met with teacher to start on her path. Learned the basics and some history, and traded a secret for a secret.
25/08/2021 - Successfully schemed with Malark to rid suspicion of his involvement with Antquity
29/08/2021 - Attended a gathering on very short notice, made offerings to Visage (A sketchbook with Val's secrets in and a white petal, both collected during the event)
30/08/2021 - Met with the speaker of said gathering to discuss faith
16/09/2021 - Made a Shrine and scheming room beneath her new house
18/09/2021 - Attended a Sermon aboard a boat, followed by a lesson held by Bauble in regards to Elementals. Took the opportunity to test out their new disguise, named Echo.

She finds herself walking along the nearest shore one morning, so early the sun has yet to truly illuminate the lands in its warmth. The waves break gently upon the pale sands, bringing a haze of fog that soon obscures all around her. She hears only the waves and her own breathing for a minute or two, before there are faint whispers to the side of the sea. She cannot quite make them out, as if the words themselves are muddled, but as she looks towards them she swears she sees a feminine figure in the distance. One fitting her own proportions, but then it is gone, the fog fading and taking it with it. Valerie senses acknowledgement, the sensation of being watched briefly -- She is now T1.

Describe the two most prominent relevant deeds they've done since their last rank up.
1 - Sick of being puppeted by Branko, Valerie has taken to feeding information to The Realmsguard to help their cause, double-crossing the Skraagite in the process.

2 - When asked if she would die for her faith, and to protect the ocean within Visage's grasp, she said that she would. And she lived up to that promise when she allowed Briarwood to leave the Sermon that was quickly turning hostile and stayed to ensure her escape, at which point she was struck down by Cymic.

Item: A Lightning Bug Trophy that Valerie gained from the Slayer Tower. She won the trial using illusions and trickery on the bugs, managing to catch one without violence or injury.

1 - Attended a Sallana gathering, as part of the effort to improve relations and favour with other divine followers.
2 - Offered an Arachian Pendant during a divination event, gained during repeated excursions to Nid Arach, where Valerie is trying to learn about the mysterious land and gain favour with The Necromancer.
3 - Gave information about Reinhard's breach of loyalty to Nwalme, got paid for it.
4 - Gave information about the Realmsguard camp to Branko and his crew, leading to his victory.
5 - Fought in the Eldpoint siege from a boat on behalf of Drakenport, demonstrating the city's, and the cult's, strength when it comes to the ocean.

Describe the three most prominent relevant deeds they've done since their last rank up.
- Assisted the Azarin Bloodline in recovering the tale of Khorug and the Dark Order from a dungeon within Nid Arach, and wrote a book containing the knowledge. This book was not publicly released but was distributed to the Bloodline, The Last Arachians, some fellow followers of Visage and Lana Silveira.

- After a job for Branko went wrong, she was captured by the Inquisition and her identity was compromised. Aleksei attempted to blackmail her, keeping her secret so that she may do his bidding politically. Rather than become his puppet, she voluntarily confessed to what she had done and resigned from council. She then used her knowledge and findings from her meetings with Aleksei and her time in captivity to tarnish the Inquisition's reputation and lessen their influence.

- Valerie's reputation had been tarnished by a few failed schemes, and Valerie acknowledged that she must change her identity and leave her life behind in order to continue her work under the faith. She used her contacts in the Azarin family to conduct a ritual to cure her of the Gravewalker curse so that she may become a vyre again, and use the revival method to change her appearance. She ended up sacrificing her life in the process, both proving to Skraag that she could conquer her fear of death and that she could fully dedicate herself to the masquerade, no matter the cost.

The character must have earnest and genuine faith to their Divine.
- Ohpelia/Valerie has been dedicated to her worship of Visage since her mentor introduced her to the faith. She regularly attends sermons and gatherings and witnessed multiple divination. She strongly believes that in her darkest hour and time of need, only Visage and his blessed stopped to help her, whereas other Divines/Blessed of 'good' faiths had the opportunity to help but chose not to.

Must show evidence in their log of teaching another something thematic to their Divine. (Hunting, Fighting, Dancing, etc)
- Taught Alexandra Briarwood about the faith from her perspective, focussing on Knowledge, Stealth, Subtlety and Subterfuge, as well as telling the story of Silas/Visage, using it to tell Alexandra that Visage favours folks who "Do what they want, Take what they want, and let no-one dictate their life."

Must have at least five instances in their divine log where they have personally done something significant in the name of their faith separate to the event(s) above.
- She had a successful campaign and landed herself a position on the council, giving her power and influence over Storm's Landing.

- Swore an oath to not allow herself to be puppeted by others any longer, instead choosing to value her own worth and take control. Unless it benefits her own schemes, she will not do it. She has kept to this oath, turning down offers for mercenary work that she would have previously accepted, and cutting ties with Briarwood before the countess dissappeared.

- Assisted in the investigation of ruins under Evenfall Academy, discovering the secrets of the family that lived there long ago and solving the puzzles that lie there.

- Constructed a grand archives for the safekeeping and hoarding of knowledge, with plans to enlist scholars and such to hold lessons there in the hope to empower the Watcher's Grand archangel. Acquired many rare books for her archives, seeking far for many of them, and using her contacts for others. Some of the particularly rare ones are locked in a secret section of the archives, with access selectively given to a very small handful of people. One such rare book holds the knowledge she has been seeking since she first became a vyre: A mostly-detailed account of the rise and fall of Aldred. Another example would be the Gruesome Grimoire, lent to the archives by the Exalt.

- Assisted Branko in multiple victories in the war against Astrakhan. During one battle, she captured Aleksei and his son, making herself known to him as Valerie for the last time. In her eyes, she did this to get even at him for the prior incidents, so that he knew she had a hand in this. He said he'd get revenge on her for his capture, but she promised him they would not meet again and has since completely gotten rid of the identity of Valerie. She has a new disguise for use in the future, and left the recognisable one at Valerie's grave/memorial in her Archives.
