Option 1 is recommended. It will allow a defensible point withabouts Port Silver, and hopefully lead efforts towards saving the city! This will take a moderate amount resources and has the average goal set for it.

Option 2 is quite risky. While going to be laughably quick to reach its goal of resources, there is a great chance the corruption would overcome it - Being so close to the source. If such happens, the materials put into this wall will be lost.

Option 3 elects to abandon the Port Silver region. Effectively sealing off the spread of the battlefield, this option possesses the most expensive goal yet the most strategically sound outcome.

None of the walls can be trusted to be absolutely sound - This depends on the materials being put into them.
It has been observed that the Corruption cannot spread through water...
Once an option has been voted upon (You have two weeks), the amount of materials gathered shall be assessed and the wall will be built once its quota is met.

How much obsidian would we need here....
I'll just grab four chest fulls, to be safe.
You're going to come back up after your mining holiday to find the entire world in flames with corrupted people wandering around... but at least you'll be able to build some nice obsidian gear :3
