{A poetic poster is put up around Storm's Landing with a message for everyone.}

---

In times of recent memory, where strife and struggle reign,
We each forget each other, we brush aside the pain
But in each other's arms and hearts, a hope there does remain,
The power of community, upon this mortal plane.

With community the weak are strong, no longer left alone,
Our elders are respected, when their bones begin to moan.
With community the sick are well, no longer do they fester,
They are held high by those who can, no worries for the yester.

With community there is forgiveness, a chance to start anew,
To make amends and make new friends, to see your sorrows through.
With community there is a stand, against the tide of bad,
We love, hold hands and keep our ground, and make our mothers glad.

With community there comes a love so strong it can't be broken,
Bond of blood and not at all, bonds that need not be spoken.
With community comes family, fierce in protection,
Throw wide the gates and keep them safe, heed not hateful ejection.

With community comes joy and jest aplenty, merriment and dance,
Life is too short for sadness, give love's sweet seed a chance.
To grow and rise and fill your hearts with gleeful essence,
Hold out your hands and join today, and live on in acceptance.

Jeroxia

We demons of our solemn hour
Good
Beneath the poem found on the Storm's Landing notice board one might find another poem, carefully written.

Grace
Truth is spoken that forgetfulness had awoken
Here comes a token for the weary and heartbroken
All we might raise glass from the old barrel oaken
Now is filled with red wine, and blossoms yet unspoken
Kindle that flame and let bonfire never be broken

Yonder lies place where all might in grace
Outpour then their face, hate to erase
Ultimately find warmest embrace

Joy then indeed, for all who might need
United no greed,
Lamenting I plead no-
I bleed
Altogether we succeed

Attached to this poem is also a tiny note that's less carefully written, but if anyone knows the writer, they might figure that he must have used a dictionary for spelling.

"J.V. sets the right example, let us fill this board with poems of love, and friendship and joy.
Quality ought not matter.
Let us show grace to this initiative and the matron lady!
In the name of love!
Gerry McIvy"
