Multiple shops (Mine included) in the trade city Tambry sell name tags for around 100 rads a piece.

To get there all you have to do is go to the Stablemaster at the crossroads and, with 6 emerald, type "go Tambry".

i think the tambry warp is broken? it won't work for me.

Are you sure you are using the Stablemaster and not the Dockmaster? The Stablemaster is the the horse in the courtyard of the Crossroads (In case you don't know). Last time I checked it still worked.
