Here I'll get this started:

The Mermaid's Rhythm

As long as I've known the humans,
My life has been a bit stressed.
Almost every moment I would sing my song,
I would wined up in a fishing nets.

They gawk at me with their curious eyes,
Praying for the moment,
That I seek their eyes.
With my long blonde hair,
And crystal blue eyes,
Who wouldn't want a stare,
From the mermaid's eye?

I listen to their festivals,
By my seashore.
Playing their fiddles,
Drinking their ale,
And so much more.

I have to admit these creatures be beautiful,
Some of their songs win my heart,
While their words make me desire more.

The dashing young man,
Who has won my hand,
Is gifted in the art of romance.
His words have no tune,
But a rhythm indeed.

His loving sweet words,
Will always be mine,
His beautiful eyes
Were seen by mine
