New Race Proposal - Corrupted Touched "Redlings"

maybe they were once fairy people and they had been corrupted by a demonic race, but the goodness in their hearts purified the darkness, however it had already spread to their appearance and hence being shunned by their "old race" they went off and started in their new lands. something like the blood elves from WoW

It says they came from humans affected by corruption and since when were fairies a race?

This is getting to complex! Fix the lore, read up on it, come back and write more. Corruption is EVIL in every form *period end of story* corruption does not just taint a persons appearance, it does so to their souls. Fairies are not a race. I ask that this conversation stop while we allow Skeldude to re-write the race he chooses to propose.

Well my bad :\ i was only trying to lighten the mood haha. but it could still have the same lore, perhaps an isolated human race away from the lands of Altera which had not been tainted yet by greed and corruption until some sort of evil entered their realm and corrupted them, then the same as what i mentioned before. Their hearts being pure were unaffected by the darkness, but their exterior bodies were. I dunno, not my race lol im just suggesting things

Its a lot better but its so tragic and depressing. Could you give the option of good or evil so for example: some blamed the corruption on other race's stupidity and destructful nature. These then took arms and became hostile. While others saw the corruption as a chance to mingle into society, mixing with other race and being generally accepted among most races.
Sonething along those lines, to keep RP open and free to be good or evil and accepted or shunned.
Well, thats my idea anyways, whether or not you agree is up to you.

Now as for the division of the race being more hostile I suppose I could say that the city of Ispann is more militant and is more interested in logical pursuits and keeping their lands no matter what, like a cat in a corner. While the artistic race is more accepting of the other races. It would also keep the two halves of my race apart for a reason. What do you think?

Oh that sounds epic, so the people in the city keep to themselves and think of themselves as superior and then those that have migrated into society are peaceful with other races and think of themselves as equal?
