Many of you may have noticed that since the magic lore was released, lore development has slowed down significantly.
This is partially my fault. The last 3 weeks have been work nightmares for me. 5 projects were behind schedule, with deadlines looming. Fortunately, the last of those deadlines was today.
So now im back to having a good amount of free time.
As such, I figured id let you all know whats been happening and whats planned.
The thing im going to do right now is to officially assemble the team. Most of it is already there, but I want to fill out the last positions and then actually set them to work.
First off, were nearly done with the magic over-haul. The lore itself is written, all that remains is a system for codifying magical artifacts (which nael has already done, and I just need to polish and post) and then a thread explaining the connection between the arcane and the divine.
Then, the only thing left is the magic app process. I know ive been killing you all with the suspense. However, I regret to inform you, this app process will not be done this week, nor next. Next week is christmas so i expect to be MIA for most of it, and the remainder of this week will be spent configging a little plugin surprise I think you will all be very happy with.
Once the magic is done, well be moving into race-overhaul. Youve already seen the syrie, we released them early to coincide with Abbey's event. Expect minor changes to all of the races, a total redo of greyling lore (which is actually already finished, were just waiting to post all as one big update) more restriction on elven subraces, and a great amount of condensing on the denizens of altera.
After that, we will be doing minor tweaks on the gods. Nothing huge, just some things we wanted to do.
Weve got our work cut out for us, so well see where we go from there.
