Can I get the rules for the joust?

IF I RECALL CORRECTLY-

A joust is the first to three points. Points are awarded by successfully breaking your lance on an opponent, or causing them to fall from their horse.

This is determined with dice rolls as follows:

If the difference of the two rolls is
1-3 then the lances miss and there is no point awarded.
4-9 then the higher roll takes a point, and breaks their lance on the opponent.
10-19 then the higher roll takes two points and dehorses their opponent.

This is repeated until someone has three points or dies. :)

Edit: The actual effects of the lance breaking/dehorse are often left to the players themselves, but they should rp injuries if it would be so.

I don't actually joust, but I believe what Brit said above is how most of them go. I'd also like to go ahead with an idea of Brit's from earlier, that those who place 1st, 2nd, or 3rd, will get a +1 modifier in the next joust. This can go up to a maximum of +3 in any jousts within Kaltstaat, each event providing an opportunity to get a +1 if you rank in the top 3.
