Backstory:

Chapter 1: Start of a new life:
Taleis & Oguk Pakgu's were brothers, Taleis was four years older. They where both born in the shack behind their mothers cabin. They lived with their mother and father.

Taleis and Oguk were always very close brothers. Fighting is in their peoples nature and fight they did. Due to having four years advantage, Taleis would usually win and Oguk would get angry and do something stupid out of pure rage like punching a hole in his bedroom wall.

Their family was so poor that their father had to move away from their little shack to find income elsewhere which he could send back to his family to support them.

He made enough income to keep him alive and plenty to keep his family alive which he sent by a trusted messenger, a small Greyling who was rewarded for his deliveries. When their mother fell ill Taleis and Oguk did everything they could but even the best Earthspawn healers did not know what was wrong with her. In the end she became so weak that she passed away. Taleis and Oguk placed her body in the small cabin and burnt it down and did a small ceremony to say goodbye to her spirit.

They began to travel to their fathers home that had since turned into a small village. They made a few friends on the way, a Dwarf, a Greyling and a fellow Earthspawn. The 5 youngsters traveled together. On a cold and frosty night the dwarf snuck into the Greylings tent and was about to kill him over an argument they had earlier due to the Greyling cheating in a gambling game. The Dwarf held his dagger high and muttered a few words before swinging the dagger down with such force the tent shuttered. The Greyling awoke just in time as the Dwarf had made a tremendous amount of noise, raising his arms in defence with not a second to spare. The Dwarfs dagger penetrated deep into the Greylings arm, Blood squirting into the Dwarfs face and distracting him for a split second. In that time Taleis appeared wielding a bow and fired the arrow, It dug into the back of the Dwarfs head and burrowed itself deep their killing him instantly.

The Greyling was very grateful and taught Taleis a few of the darker sides of Magick however Oguk never got the hang of it.The Greyling decided that after Taleis had completed his training they should split up as Oguk and Taleis were heading in the opposite direction. They said their farewells and continued on their journey.

When they finally reached the small village they saw it was in despair and falling apart.Their father became very depressed with the news of his wife's death. He took his mind off it by training his sons to become true warriors.

It was only as few months after an Earthspawn assassin (Not the stealthy kind) came lumbering in like a giant with his mace. He told their father to take his blade and fight. With that there father drew his sword and taunted this assassin brute. The assassin jumped forward and mightily swung his mace shattering there fathers left shoulder. A sickening crack echoed through the city. There father lay on the floor in agony, He threw his sword at the assassin but it flew straight past. There father stood up and drew for his axe, the assassin ran forward and kicked their father onto his back. It was to late however... He had already threw his axe, it split the assassins skull and nested itself in his frontal probe of his brain. The assassins large body fell forward, crushing their father... It took all his strength to remove the body from on top of him... He looked down and gasped. Embedded in his chest was a large rusty dagger, It was black in colour and had flashing red impulses emerging from the blade.

Taleis being the oldest inherited the falling apart village. The village had been run down due to many new Earthspawn residents moving in and not being organised or disciplined. Taleis promised he would turn it into a Earthspawn tribe to be proud of and quickly brought the village back to its standards.

A couple of years later when Taleis was asleep in his town hall, while the majority of his citizens hunted for a oncoming celebration. It is said a small group of people marched into the town hall with golden armor encrusted with the finest jewels and swords so strong they could break stone. That night Taleis left with them and was never seen again. The Earthspawn child who gave this evidence swore on his life (Earthspawn being extremely superstitious) it was the truth.

Nobody knew why they took him until a few months later (read on for this bit). A week of him being missing news came of Taleis being executed nobody knew if it was the truth, until his body was found dumped outside Zuk'Thar town hall with his head on a spike. A few months later Leo Lonmar admitted he had paid the Fallen Legion to commit this kidnapping and execution. Oguk beat up Leo and left him in an alley, soon after Oguk was shot by a handcannon and narrowly survived. After recovering Oguk went to war with the Fallen Legion, Weeks of constant battle led to the Fallen Legion being destroyed and Oguk slaying there leader.

Chapter 2: Heavens Reach:
It was no lie that while Oguk and his Earthspawn soldiers may of won the war they certainly did take losses and a high amount at that, They no longer had the needed troops and Zuk'Thar was in ruins. It was here that Oguk met Neorey August and was recruited into Heavens Reach. Oguk built a large inn where his Earthspawn troops could live while they rebuilt Zuk'Thar.

Oguk joined the Heavens reach guard and worked his way up to 2nd in command. After fighting a large series of wars against the bandits Oguk was a veteran and had became a warrior of high skill- something that would of made his father incredibly proud. After a short time in Heavens Reach the Earthspawn had rebuilt Zuk'Thar... They had not only rebuilt it but turned it from a village into a city to be proud of. Oguk left Heavens Reach and said goodbye, The Earthspawn re-settled into there land Zuk'Thar. It was here Oguk founded House Earkz'Dok and began building his Earthspawn Empire.

Chapter 3: Zuk'Thar & Earkz'Dok's rise.
Oguk had Zuk'Thar repaired, Thanks to the help of Adoga and Bogar, Zuk'Thar had become a grand city. Walls arose around Zuk'Thar and pikes mounted with heads placed around the wall/ and in the city. Earthspawn flocked to Zuk'Thar. The tribes of the hollows slowly entering the top world, Earkz'Dok grew. It was here and now that Oguk witnessed some of the best things of his life... and some of the worst.

Oguk met a beautiful Earthspawn female named Yazgash, they fell in love. Oguk loved everything about her. Her eyes, voice, beautiful face and body... to make it even better she was a keen fighter. Trained in archery, small daggers and unarmed combat she disposed of her enemies silently and elegantly. Oguk married this fine Earthspawn lady and she was giving a coronation making her queen (Qurk'Qa) of Zuk'Thar. Together they had 4 children, Orag, Oglub, Oguk Jr and Eruz.

Many years after Orag, Oglub's and Oguk Jr's birth when Eruz was still a newborn Yazgash was touring the waters near Zuk'Thar in a small Earkz'Dok ship. The boat was attacked by survivors of the Fallen Legion, they where enraged they had lost the war and wanted bitter revenge. Yazgash took 8 arrows too the back as she lay on Eruz to protect him. Earthspawn soldiers swam onto the shores and broke into a fierce battle, both sides losing troops quickly.

A Earthspawn scout took a crying Eruz and swam to Zuk'Thar to give the news. He protected the child with his life. It should be noted when the scout arrived Oguk was making love to another Earthspawn female Pekeri... Oguk had been having an affair. Oguk dressed and set off to the battle-field. Dead bodies everywhere. Corpses scattered. Only one survivor. A Earthspawn holding his neck, blood erupting from a knife wound, He died soon later. Oguk had his wife and soldiers cremated on the spot. The Fallen Legion remnants bodies where sliced into pieces and scattered on the hills as a warning.

His son Orag grew up to be a gambler and thug. He committed crime and rode with a viscous horde of bandits. He lent Radiants out to those who needed them, then killed anyone who would not pay them(and extra) back. In the end Orag became corrupt and unloyal. He planned to kill his father to take the throne. Oglub was asked to join his brother in this act, Oglub threw his brother Orag off the docks into the cold waters of lake Earkz'Kai. Oglub followed his brother into the water and stabbed him multiple times, slitting Orags neck and turning the water into a dark puddle of blood...

Oglub grew up to be a fine war general, He staid loyal to his father and executed Oguks orders with complete discipline. He was spoilt and rude, but he was loyal. He was a good warrior. He made Oguk proud...

His youngest son Eruz grew up to be a mercenary, hired to kill, defend... but mostly slay. It is said civil blood keeps civil hands unclean. Eruz may never of heard that phrase, but he would be able to relate to it. Most of his jobs where petty murders, he felt more like an assassin than a mercenary. The other races of Altera unable to do there own killings... hiring a proud Earthspawn as they were too weak. Eruz wanted to fight honorably, against well trained warriors. Not petty Militias and civilians. In the end Eruz was gave a job he would not return from...

He had done jobs for Orag before (Little did he know, after giving Eruz the job, Orag had been killed by Oglub) ... He had picked up his brother Orags gambling and thug like traits... He had become a mirror of his brother... Arrogant and unloyal... The job Orag gave him was to kill his fellow Mercenaries as one had angered Orag.

Eruz walked into the tavern his fellow Mercenary's would wait for contracts in. He began cutting into there ranks, Slashing them dead like a knife through butter. A few minutes later they all lay dead around him... covered in there own blood... Apart from one... There leader. He stood, holding his wound on his chest. Blood poured through his fingers... He raised his handcannon firing at Eruz before falling to the floor and crawled into a ball and bled to death... Eruz was sent flying into a wall... He then fell to the blood stained oak floor... there he lay with his former comrades and died alongside them.

It should be mentioned that after the affair Pekeri gave birth to a child named Darak. Darak and Pekeri fled Zuk'Thar and settled out of the Northern Kingdoms. Many years later Pekeri and Darak returned but Pekeri was arrested when she was caught stealing food to feed her child. Pekeri was executed and Darak was adopted by a Halfling named Rillow. Darak was also looked after by a fellow Earthspawn named Cannon who was a friend of his mother. Oguk found out Darak was his son but was not happy.

After awhile of thinking Oguk finally opened his arms to Darak. It was a couple of weeks later a group of High Church members and a enemy of Oguk slit Darak's throat in an alley next to the Merry Mead. This would lead to Oguk fighting against the High Church, Brutally killing the man who slit Daraks throat and ending up on the run from the High Church and other Assassins.
Chapter 4: Oguk's dark days:

It was during the war of the Game of Crowns, That Oguk really began to change. He had lost allot of family and witnessed many horrible things. He been changed from a friendly giant into a mass of anger, hatred and brutality. He would have fits of rage and lose his temper for no apparent reason. Smashing the objects in his path and beating down those around him... even if they where family or friends... even if he cared for them. The High Church sent man after Oguk trying to kill him again and again because he had freed a Greyling prisoner. Not only did the High Church try kill him, Assassins came after him because he angered the rich and powerful. Oguk was only really appreciated when fighting in the Game of Crowns, He could kill , fight and destroy... Not only that but he would be rewarded for these things!

Oguk's friends and family noticing he has changed sent him to see a fortune teller. Otherwise would of saw a Fortune tellers prophecy as fake and coin-grabbing but the Earthspawn are superstitious people.
The lady, dressed in elegant blue silk told him a corruption, a dark being was tinting his soul. She warned him he would do terrible things and hurt those around him. She also mentioned some kind of crystal he would come across... However she could not confirm if that would be for the better or worst...
Chapter 5: Winning the of Game of Crowns:
Lonmar needed to win the Game of Crowns, would they need politics? Nether no! They needed warriors who could kill without mercy. They hired the ex-wartribe now proud Earthspawn nation known as Earkz'Dok.

After they had won the Game of Crowns, Oguk was excused of all previous crimes and his nations was paid a great amount for their service...

Oguk became a loyal ally of Lonmar and for a short period Earkz'Dok even served as a vassal who would be elite soldiers for Lonmar. This would however change, when Lonmar was removed from the crown due to Haraeth the Earkz'Dok Earthspawn became an independent nation once more.

Chapter 5.5: Following Grief:

Queen Grief decided that Oguk, King of the Earthspawn would be a powerful ally and she corrupted him, turning him twisted and evil. Giving him new powers that made him more dangerous than ever, she sent Oguk and his Earthspawn on many campaigns. He conquered, killed and burned all that stood in Grief's way.

Chapter 6: Over-throw me!?!:
Oguk was notably, drunk beyond help. Oguk Jr walked in and thrust a dagger into Oguk's chest, the same dagger used to kill Oguk's father... He tied Oguk up and dragged him too a cell.

Oglub was quick to sit on the throne, ready to rule as the new Dera'Ko. Oguk Jr and his Earthspawn militia marched forward, throwing Oglub out of Earkzian land. Oguk Jr had became the new Dera'Ko.

Oguk however, was not so happy. His son Oguk Jr took him too court, a court owned by Oguk Jr... where Oguk Jr was the judge, in fact Oguk Jr was everything in that court.

Oguk's punishment was too lose his heritage and name. He had gone from Dera'Ko Oguk Pakgu the first too "Oguk".

Oguk became a bandit, a killer. A pirate lord- Still under the control of Queen Grief's corruption Oguk served her while pillaging the land.

Chapter 7: Back on the throne:

Oglub, killed Oguk Jr and took the throne, he ruled for a short time period before passing away himself.

With Queen Grief gone, Oguk was free from her corrupted grasp. Now returned to his former self, Oguk old and less imposing but wiser none the less returned to his kingdom after a long sea journey and took back his throne. He was devastated by his childrens deaths but he nearly brone apart when he found that for the short time his people had no leader, riots had broke out. His empire destroyed and his people scattered. Oguk only had one goal, to rebuild his empire no matter what the cost.
