After investigating a grimly scene in Lyon, it would seem that Aldris Ralerion is indeed alive again .. and planning something disastrous. The notes of a woman named 'Vic' and the dying words of Marcus Lamieux direct the investigation to a small hamlet north of Aelemere .. Rosehill, on the hunt for more clues .. and a boy named Marcel.
