I think I might like it here
I have an idea as to how to make it look like it has been out there for atleast a few years.

Like lars said: as the city itself, the statue is not even 10 years old yet, so Im not going to cover it with moss or vines.

I hope the final product satisfies the kings enough to leave it there.

The things people most seem to ask about the statue are "why is made out of squares" or "why isnt it a 3D-version of this videogame character"

Numerous designs for the statue did go through my head when I was planning out the town. It could have been a more shaped, kneeling knight with a sword plunged into the mountain. I could have tried to make a statue of the Enemy of the World himself.

But thats not Minecraft. And Minecraft is the thing I wanted to make a homage to. I altered the story to fit a soldier, who found a book. And acted on what he read in it.

I hope this answers some of those questions.
