Since the day he was born, Daset showed a great interest to the merchant world. Having a father and mother in said business of course helped this out. The first word from his mouth was "merchant" and from there on he would learn the ways of a merchant.

His father, Gregio Risnar, was a well to do merchant. He would work with both seafaring folk as well as merchants who lived in cities. Often he would take his wife, Lily, and his son, Daset, down to the docks with him. Lily would sometimes offer her kiss on a cheek in exchanged for better prices on the goods. Although he did enjoy the cheaper prices, Gregio would tell her he wished she could find another way. Seeing Daset take an interest in what went on at the family shop and down at the docks prompted him to teach Daset all about the merchant world. At the age of 12 Gregio would have Daset work the family shop while his wife and him would go to the docks and other merchants. Having made his fortune, Gregio sold the family shop and moved his family down to Campis Domini, a small fishing town. He opened a fish stall and bought a small fishing vessel. Gregio would gather fish and his wife would clean and sell them at the stall. Gregio died at the age of 68 , and was buried in the town cemetary.

His mother, Lily Risnar, was most certainly a merchant wife. Aside from the various trips around town to other merchants and down to the docks, she would also help run the family shop. On occasion, she would offer a kiss on the cheek to the sailors for a price reduction on the goods her husband would want to purchace. Although this helped their bank account, Gregio would often say to her that he wished she would find another way to lower prices. After moving down to Campis Domini, Lily would often be found running the fish stall. With both cleaning and selling the fish she would often comment that she was going to turn into a fish. At her husband's horror she would often sell the fish at a much discounted rate to some customers. She would just shrug and say, "Well there's plenty more fish in the sea." Lily died at the age 65 from some unknown disease. It was believed to have been caused by being in contact with fish too much.

Daset Risnar was introduced to the merchant world by his father, Gregio Risnar. As a young boy he would help his father count the profits of the day. At the young age of 12 his father let him run the family shop. By his 18th brithday, Daset had already made a small fortune on his own from working with is father. As time went on his family eventually moved down to Campis Domini, a small fishing town. His father started a small fishing business and his mother would help run the stall. Daset would help on occasion with both the fishing and running of the stall. After his mother died of some unknown disease, his father sold the fishing business and settled down. In his early 30's he gained the house his father had bought and all his father's fortune. Having lost both his parents he lived life almost in a monotonic state. Waking up and going about his daily schedule was just something he'd do without thinking. Life was becoming dull even though he was barely 34 at the time.

About this time something occured that would be the beginning of a new life. The Lord of Campis Domini grew weary of running the town. He eventually sold it off to another load and left, pressumed to have gone to some far away land. The new lord was very eager to start making changes. He tore down the walls that protected the city as he wanted to do something different. The new lord even planned on moving the town to a different location after a suitable spot was found. As he started the move many current citizens became angry at him. They felt he now was not attending to their needs. With the wall gone now monsters of the night were able to just ransake the town with out any resistance. They would kill citizens and scare them away. Eventually only a few were all that remained.

Of these few one stood above the rest. Thomas Pierce was his name and a new vision for Campis Domini was his game. He began speaking out against the new lord. Calling forth all that remained, the rest of the town began to complian. Soon a revolt was staged and ready. The new lord was too busy to even notice. The townsfolk, including Daset, assualted the castle and broke down the door. Reaching the throne room they took on the guard. Frightened by his subjects attacking his keep, the new lord decided it was time to take his leave. Victorious the townsfolk were and happy as they could be. They had wanted no more of that lord and that was what they had fought for.

Now Thomas Pierce now called out to the people of Campis Domini, saying that they should elect a new mayor. Pierce won the election without a doubt. Durning the seige on the castle he had noticed that Daset had shown greate loyaltiy and bravery. He not only took on several guards, but had helped the others all he could after the battle was over. Only one citizen was injured in the battle. They were able to recover well over time. Thomas apporched Daset on the eve of the election day and ask him if he would like to help shape Campis Domini into a better town. Daset replied, "Of course I would." "It'd be an honor to help you bring Campis Domini into a new age." With much building to be done the two began construction at once the next morning. With not many people to help the progress was slow and steady. Many days past and building slowed down almost coming to a complete stop.

One morning at Daset was wandering around the town, a stranger came up to him and asked if he could join Campis Domini. Not really knowing what to do he asked Thomas of what he thought on this. Thomas agreed to let him live there and gave him a home to live in. Eventually more travelers, much of them previous residents, came to Campis Domini. The town soon began to bustle about as it did awhile back. The castle was torn down and more buildings went up all around the town. After a few months the town was almost complete. Daset had reopened up a small shop in the town's market; selling various items from a few traveling traders. Having resettled down he would often take time off to just sit at the inn and have a few drinks with Thomas, with whom he had become great friends with. Life was good and prosperous with plenty of fun things to do everyday.

Then the corruption came...
It started as a rumor that seemed all to silly. Daset would hear things about it randomly from traders that would come from far away cities. They would say it would get here soon and that everyone should leave. Some residents left as soon as the news came, others didn't seem to care thinking that it'd never get here. Then a near by town was reported to have corruption near it. Upon hearing this Daset packed up his things and headed out for port silver , where it was said a fleet of ships were headed to a new and mystierous world. Thomas Pierce said that he would found a new city in the new world and Daset was welcome to come. Daset told him he would meet up with him later, but first wanted to see for himself what the world he grew up in was becoming. Thomas and the few residents left departed on a boat headed for the new world.

For about 3 weeks Daset traveled the from city to city doing a little trading here and there with some who were still about. As he came to one town though he got his first glimsp of the corruption. Massive chucks of earth was swirled up high lava and fire spilled from the center of a large hole in the ground. Frightend he turned and headed straight for Port Silver where he was able to catch a boat heading out. Upon arriving at the new world Daset was greeted by a young sailor and told about small encampment that had been set up nearby. It offered some shelter from the rain and Daset was able to stock up on supplies. As he was walking around the camp he came upon his good friend, Thomas Pierce. They greeted each other warmly and exchanged stories of what had happend. Daset told of his encounter with the corruption while on his travels. Thomas found it horriffing though interesting, and told him of Timbervale, the new city he founded himself. Daset followed him to the city, which at the time was just mostly a partially built wall and a small camp nearby. Daset set up a tent in the camp and rested while Thomas and him had a drink and food by the campfire.

Construction on the city of Timbervale was tiring. Everyday Daset would wake up early to grab some food and freshen up. Thomas and Daset worked for months on end buliding and laying out the city. After what seemed like years the wall had been put up and the road was layed out. One day while Daset was looking at some blueprints for a building he was planning on making, Thomas returned with a pecuillur person. Her name was Ariadne of Clearpond Thomas had said. She apparently had been in the camp wandering around. She seemed a little confused and upon asking her, Thomas found that she had just traveled from her homeland far away. She had come due to her curosity in what humans were like, as there were none from wince she came. Thomas had invited her to come along to show her around and had ended up at the site for Timbervale.

Daset having never seen an elf before, though had heard of them on his travels. This one in particular seemed shorter than most of the discriptions he had heard of though. That of course wasn't what he thought about as they greeted each other and sat down with Thomas for a drink. Seeing her smile made him feel all warm inside and reminded him of how his mother had always smiled the same way. As the night grew young Ariadne announced she would like to live here. She mentioned that she wanted to learn about how to cook the food that humans ate. Thomas was more than delighted and told her she could be a baker, which she agreeded too. Daset was happy to hear that she was staying. The next days too come were long and hot. The city construction was going well though was tiring work. Ariadne built a bakery on the market square and started to practice her baking and cooking of human food. Daset and Thomas were both impressed at the food she made and didn't mind at all that she would use them as "test" subjects for the food she cooked. Much of it was wonderfull and beyond what they both had ever tasted. She even baked an elven bread that she modified a little, which both the boys thought was amazing.

The city was springing up out of the ground with housing and shops and the sorts were put together. The inn was built first along with some suitable housing. Shops on the square were put up along with a blacksmith. Daset built his building near the market which happend to be a Guild hall for merchants. More road was laid out and more housing went up. Thomas decided to put both Daset and Ariadne on the city council. More people had joined the city and were busy working on projects around the city. The cities first Council hall was built out on the bay. A fort sprung up at the entrance of the bay casting it's protection over the entrance. A few housing complexes were thrown up along with the houses of Council Row. Thomas approched Daset with a few projects he wanted to do and Daset said he'd see what he could do. As the city came together more and more travelers came into the city and took up various jobs. Soon the city was bustling as much as Campis Domini if not more than. A chaple was erected just behind Daset's house along with more houseing and even an arena. A few days after Thomas had asked about the projects Daset had finished them. They were projectes that had involved redstone, a magical dust that seems to be able to "power" things. With that said Thomas had wanted portcullis installed on the 3 gates into the city. A retractable bridge was also installed going out to the Council Hall. Along with this Daset had constructed a lighthouse at the bay entrance. Calling it the Lighthouse of Timbervale, Daset was very proud of it. The city now was mostly complete.

With the construction of the fort Thomas began looking for a Captain of the Guard. An orc no less ended up answering the call. The Council members all saw the advantage of having an orc head of the military and welcomed him in. After a week the orc, Krogen Mal was added to the Council of Timbervale. Krogen add much to the city, both protection and style. While showing him the fort, Krogen asked Daset why there weren't any training facilities. Daset answered embarssingly that he hadn't really know what to have in a fort as he wasn't a militaristic man. Krogen laughed and told him not to worry. An archery range was set up, along with some sparring dummies. As Daset looked around he saw a small ring filled with sand. Upon asking about it, Krogen explained it was a sparring ring. After some thought Daset asked, "might I have a go at it?" Krogen seemed to size him up and nodded. After explaining the rules and having decided on just a fist only battle, Daset and Krogen had at each other. Daset having only had the Campis Domini battle experience was very ill prepared. Although the guards had been tough nothing compared to this 7'10" hulking monstrosity standing before him. After the sparring was finished Daset could tell he was gonna hurt the next morning. Krogen had gone easy on him only landing a few punches, and had given him advise on how to fight differntly. Daset himself only landed one punch which seemed to have had least some effect as Krogen had somewhat flinched when contact was made. At least I'm not completely out of shape Daset had thought to himself. Determined to become better, Daset trained with Krogen over the next few months.

As time went on Daset gained more knowlegde on the redstone mechanics. He was able to power up various things such as his house and a few other contraptions. After a few months he was able to use it fairly well and decided to play around with it more often. His shop in the market was doing decent though he didn't get many customers. It seemed that many travelers from the old world were settling at the camp, as it had grown a decent size. Daset would hear stories of the corruption and how it had taken Port Silver almost entirely. During one of his trips to the camp a portal appeared nearby. It was massive in size and seemed to have an odd glow about it. Suddenly a person stumbled through. Everyone at the camp was surpirsed and just stared as more people seem to come out of the portal. After asking who they were, it was figured out that this portal seemed to be one that had connected the old world with the new. Everyone wasn't sure where it came from but it was there. While staying at the camp one night strange noises began to come from the portal. Everyone assumed it was another group of people coming through and continued to go about their business. Suddenly someone shouted out "Monsters!!!" and to the horror of everyone there monsters were coming through. Everyone quickly grabbed their swords and bows and began to fight. Daset himself had luckly just bought a nice set of weapons for the shop. He picked on up and charged into battle, remembering what Krogen had told him. A massive battle insued as more monsters came through. Another shout was heard as more came from a nearby jail. Rats and spiders swarmed out of it flanking the fighters. Daset himself was caught off guard and almost lost his life though was able to escape with only some small cuts. Taking a small break from the battle he went back to the camp to tend to his wounds. Ariadne was there helping the wounded. The sight of her made Daset smile and give a nod towards her direction. She smiled back and continued her task. After sometime the battle went down below the jail. The corruption had apparently come through the portal and had hidden down under the jail. Bideing it's time it had spawned and army and invaded the new world through the portal. The corruption was temporally stopped by some mages at the battle, who put a ward on the portal and jail to keep it from spreading anymore. Having won the battle the people of Altera returned to their duties. Ariadne and Daset headed back home to Timbervale, which by now was prospering well.

After a few months passed, a shipyard, farm, and even some more houses had been built. One day Thomas called a meeting to discuss something. After some talk Thomas announced that Timbervale will be adding it's first "rich" housing development. The memebers were all excited and quickly started discussing ideas. A plan was drawn up and the houses were put together. They were magnificent in design and offered a wonderfull living area. Daset although tempted to move into one decided not to as he did enjoy the house he had already. A few days after the houses were put up Daset was in his house eating some of Ariadne's cake when there was a knock on the door. He got up and answered it, and see that is was Ariadne invited her in. After giving a tour of his humble abode they sat down at the table drinking some warm cider. A few mintues of conversation passed and Daset took a deep breath and asked if Ariadne willing to go on a date with him. She thought for a little bit and then nodded yes. Daset's heart about exploded with joy upon hearing this and assured her that she was in good hands. The date consisted of mostly just in Timbervale itself though some of it was out in the Eastern Frontier where Daset had claimed a small amount of land in. Upon returning home Daset dropped her off at her house and waved good night. She smiled and went inside. Daset was so happy and ended up staying up late due to his excitement.
