The story winds further into misery with a cruel twist of fate. The group discovers the death of Tennicon's father.
Some of the scholars can't help but feel hurt and helpless; watching from the sidelines.
The diaries continue to shed an insider's light on the tragedy of the Da Greyt family.
And the restless ghosts play out bits of their lives solemnly on repeat.
Even so, there is hope in the ruins among the darkness...
Two rooms have been set right and the sheer relief and joy that radiated in that instance were encouraging.
That's the bit of hope the scholars have got; proof that even these violent things may come to a peaceful end.
All that's left now is persistence through the horrors that the family faced.
