A busy town that is one of the main producers of artifice for the Northern area of the continent. It is known for being one of the main suppliers of the Cor Votum military as well as the Vor Votum Empire. It is home to varying forms of crafting, specifically carving and smithing. Overseen by Patrarch Vowrawn, a master craftsman in his own rightm Gra'kanat is set into the rock face and underground in order to hide from the ash, a method the Moor Elves adopted from the Dwarves, centuiries past.
Since being forced under the yoke of Cor Votum, Gra'kanat is officially faithless however all manner of faiths are welcome in Gra'kanat, with its size, distance from Mistmarch and its production output meaning it can tentatively govern itself without Cor Votum looking over.
- Screaming can usually be heard out in the Ashlands at night, originally this prompted the Gra'Kanat'Orra Guards to investigate. But nothing is found every time
- Tribal Moor Elves will apparently descend on weary travellers to rob them and leave them to the Ash, but this has never being proven, nor does Acolyte Vowrawn choose to believe it.
- It is said that the desolate landscape surrounding Gra'Kanat'Orra can drive a man to madness if he stares at it too long.
- It is said that all manner of vile and twisted creatures roam the Ash Wastes at night, things not seen by sane eyes
