Finished {Moderate/Violent} Starlight Festival {Jan. 28th}

A festival in celebration of the winter months and starry evening of the twilight hours. Where people shall come together as one people for the sake of peaceful unification and enjoyment of what surrounds them within these new lands. A reason to know your neighbors and enjoy their company as new allies, friends, and family shall be welcomed.

Riddle hunt
Prizes will be strewn about the towns, with riddles tacked onto each. Without the correct answer, the box shall not open. You may work as teams or attempt it alone. I wish you all good luck.
[Minecart chests will be hidden across the map, each having a trapdoor to lock it in place. The answer to the riddle will open the trapdoor. You can roll a d4 to see which row of the chest you can select a single prize from.]
Example Riddle:
Gentle in the breezes and kind at the loom, truly a tailor’s best friend.
-Cotton [In game, the trapdoor will request it written as cotton, in lowercase letters]

Stars of the Earth
A game where you strike at three stones, each given the chance to chip a gemstone. Depending how many you successfully achieve, will be the outcome of your prize.
[A stall with three ores, you roll to strike each ore {1-5 Unsuccessful, 6-10 Small chip, 11-15 Medium chip, 16-20 Large chip} Depending on how many ‘points’ you get will be the row you can choose from. {small = 1, medium = 2, large = 3} {Bottom = < 3, Middle 4-6, Top 7-9}]

Folk-lore acting
A game where one person is chosen to be a story-teller among a group of willing participants. The willing participants must then act out their scenes accordingly, much like an improvised play. The crowd then chooses the winner and such will be given a prize.

Stars Aligned
Essentially a game of hot potato, where one is to toss a glass orb to another in hopes they are not caught once the timer runs out. Last one standing may keep the orb. [You roll a d20 to catch the orb, a roll of 5 and under will be a drop. 6-10 is a stumble]

Shooting Range
Drop an emerald into the labeled chest for each attempt you wish to make and rp out taking your shot. Roll 1d20 1-5=A complete miss. 6-10=An arm or a leg was struck, take ONE prize from the top of the prize chest. 11-15=The torso was struck, take ONE prize from the middle row of the prize chest. 16-20=The head was struck, take ONE prize from the bottom row of the prize chest.

Archery Contest
Simple enough. The one that hits the most targets after each round will be gifted a prize. Turn base will depend on the number of participants.

Starlight Lanterns
A quiet gathering to commemorate old lives lost and new ones forming. Lanterns made of paper shall be let loose upon the air, as petals will be scattered on the lake shore.

Borealis
If the time is right, we hope for nature’s own light display with the Aurora Borealis showing among the skies.

Stars of the Sea
A pearl diving event off the bay of Sanardu. A net shall be placed to keep the current from sweeping away swimmers as they try to dive to the sandy shores for pearls and hidden prizes.
[Roll and initial d20, with a successful roll of 12+ you may do a second roll of a d100 to see which prize you will receive. {1 - Pinched by a crab, 2-29 Stones or shells, 30-49 Coins or old trinkets <100r worth, 50-59 Old Riseport artifact rusted by the sea (example, a rusted kukri), 60-69 something worth 200r, 70-79 a container that preserved its contents from the sea Old Riseport artifact, 90+ a rare item or pearled oyster]

The Bard’s Song
A contest upon a stall where several may participate in a poetry contest. Winner of the contest shall be prized.

Jax’s Luck
A small mechanism for a game of chance. You place an emerald and wait for the outcome of the machine, should they be on your favor you’ll earn a prize. Requested by Nwalme.

Bazaar & Market
An open air marketplace shall be able to be rented to any merchant wishing to sell wares. One can speak to the town owners to set up permanent shops, along with using this as an opportunity to make trade ties.

Glow of the Sea
An event that takes place once the sun sets. The ocean glows with the movements presented. While the water may be a bit cold, it would be safe to swim.
