So this 'ere beastie be a slightly adapted (and shortened!) version of the 18th century sea shanty "My Jolly Sailor Bold" which appears in one of the Pirates of the Caribbean films. Except, uh. It's in the anglicised version of Old Norvægen that I'm writing. Pronunciation not likely to be as you expect - this thing's a monster.
