After millennium of watching and caring for the dead The Grey Lady became lonely and tired. After seeing that all of the other gods had children she decided to have one of her own. The Grey Lady had no suitor, so she decided to make her child. She chose a child of Altera who died at birth along with its mother. The Grey Lady gave the child a choice when it accepted she stole two stars and a crow. The stars were for the power it took to be a god and the crow was because it was a bird of death, it was a scavenger. After combining all of these things with the child and a small part of her, the Crow Man was born. The Crow Man became a set of three all the same being while having separate duties and characteristics. The first, Crow Man, the figurehead of the being. He is the greeter to the dead, just as the crows, he is also the most human of the three. The second, Black Jack. Black Jack is the overseer of funerals and people who are near death. Black Jack is the most mischievous or evil of the three. The third, Scarecrow. The Scarecrow is the silent watcher of spirits. The scarecrow protects the souls until they reach his mother.
