Lord of Altera

For too long have the Houses quarreled among themselves;
For too long have they shunned the unknown and forsaken the acceptance of all races;
For too long have they rejected peace yet embraced war;
For too long have they drifted into darkness and become bound to hatred and revenge.
So it is that Societas Magnanimus has been born, to fight injustice and hatred wherever it should be found, for none should be forced to live in an Altera in which there is no freedom, honor, and equality.
Our main goal is equality, so no person or race is deemed greater than another. We seek to encourage peaceful negotiations between all houses, races, and kingdoms in Altera and foster good will towards all in order to someday achieve this goal.
To better achieve our goal, we issue the following declaration:
In the interests of restoring balance, order, and equality to the realm;
In the pursuit of creating a free, unbiased, and inclusive Altera;
In order to protect and defend the rights of all Alterans;
We of Societas Magnanimus call upon all free peoples of Altera to unite together under the banner of Lord Sinclair Arcturus in his quest to claim the crown!
In accordance with the traditions of Altera, Lord Sinclair Arcturus would rule as a fair and just Emperor of the realm, for one who has not shed blood for Alterans can never lead Alterans. He shall lead by example, with wisdom and valor; duty and honor; mercy and might.
Furthermore, we of Societas Magnanimus call for a council to be formed of representatives from the Houses of Altera to rule alongside the Emperor.
This council shall be comprised of nine members, symbolic of the nine immortal kings of old. These members shall be representatives from the houses of Altera. Three members shall be chosen at random from all the houses and rotated onto the council on a monthly basis to serve three-month terms each.
The council shall advise the Emperor in his policies and actions. As the council will be comprised of representatives from across Altera, this will ensure that all decrees are given with foresight and knowledge of the opinions of all peoples and races.
Therefore, with the provisions written above, we of Societas Magnanimus support the claim of Lord Sinclair Arcturus to the crown of Altera and declare war on all those who would oppose his fair, just, and virtuous reign!
