Priests would often find him wandering through the nearby woodlands, admiring the flowers. Scolding him, he decided to finding ways to rebel, resorting to read and thusly following Silas' teachings instead of Shalherana. Despite being inclined towards the God of Secrets, he still admires Shalherana and her teachings.

Yllaric Family
The Yllaric family primarily consists of Silver Elves and has quite an old lineage, dating all the way back to the origins Harathendel. This upper-class family was held in regard, getting involved in politics quite often. When Ivlisar Sarneiros-Yllaric (Sylvar's great-grandfather) left power, the family eventually lost the spotlight. They still remained integrated into society, clearly making themselves useful as treasurers in the cities finances. There have been scandals and rumours that he may have stolen from the city, but all these accusations are simply false. Since the downfall of Harathendel, the Yllaric family gradually lost notoriety, with family members growing few and far between. Taenaran met Aila Lorafiel-Kelsys during one of his trips to woodlands, documenting the estranged beliefs and religious practices of certain members of Shalherana's faith. Despite the fact that it would have been heavily scrutinised by other family members, as Aila was a Forest Elf, Taenaran fell in love with Aila, eventually marrying her and conceiving their only child; Sylvar.
