The Bosmer and Tongoy Forest

Jak

Magus of Nothing
Legend
Bosmer are a species of elf. They are found only within the depths of Tongoy Forest and only a few have ever left this grand expanse of jungle. Originally wood-elves from a much smaller forest the Bosmer had travelled to this forest in search of a great place to call their own. Only a few small tribes of wood-elves set out for this land and of these only two actually reached a destination that would eventually be named Tongoy Forest. Once in this land the two tribes went their seperate ways, these tribes were named the Bosmer tribe and the Walapai tribe. All records of the Walapai from this point are lost as they have not been seen since.

Once in Tongoy the Bosmer soon found a small clearing and settled down to grow their then very small tribe. For the next hundred years the Bosmer were not seen. It is believed that in this time the forest changed them and gave them the characteristic bright blonde hair and green eyes that every Bosmer has. As the Bosmer only recorded history through drawings from what we can gather the tribe discovered a fruit that they called the tongoy and it is from this that they gave the forest it's name.

Legend
Tongoy forest is in a location that does not currently exist on Altera. I may try for permission to build this place as a quest center but that is if I have the time.

Magus of Nothing
Legend
The records for a Walapai split-off were discovered and it tells a story that is along the lines of this:

This large tribe split up into many different smaller tribes. These spread out from where they entered some going north and some going south. It is believed that a northern tribe came to call themselves the Children of Eden and that this tribe then named this vast forest Eden. After this the tribe developed and grew before being attacked by Endermen. Only three of this tribe are known to have survived this attack. I have met only one of them who goes by the name of Ploot. He is the source of these records and after much discussion we decided that they must be part of the great forest region known as both Eden and Tongoy.
