Letter/notice:

*An anonymous letter sent to every known keep in the northern kingdoms on Friday 19th of sunbright. The only /possible/ exception are the Senatoor, which are on lockdown and practically unable to see this notice through their tense schedule of watching the houses. They still may receive the letter*

A notice to all those within the northern kingdoms of Altera, this is a cry for justice from the corrupt hands of the Senatoor, the true murderers of Corvus Ventus, a innocent and beloved Forest Elf that has done nothing to deserve the early grave he got! I say to the people, with this compelling list of evidence I have compiled that we find and make these Senatoor pay for their actions! They have accursed us too long, from trying to force their laws and arrest control over other lands, to the murder and torture of those that they choose! Read this, and the crimes of the Senatoor, and tell me, how much will we bear? How much more death, destruction, and damnable corrupt motives will we take before we fight back? None I say! Let your voice be heard and let us tear down this accursed shwindle of a house brick by brick!

*Attached is a well educated list of evidence towards the assassination of Corvus Ventus, as well as a list of crimes Senatoor and the other suspects have committed*

*Enclosed is a detailed and well educated list of the evidence found towards the crime*

Evidence:
  • The body of Corvus Ventus has yet to be found.
  • The assassins were wearing Senatoor colors, one was using a sword while the other used a crossbow, however, it is assumed they both had the same weaponry present.
  • The assassins were wearing a Senatoor mark on their pauldrons, however said mark is also different from the standard marking, as the symbol seen had a unicorn based in the middle, which has only before been seen on the Senatoor banners, not markings.
*A detailed example of both markings are shown*.

  • The Assassins left signs heading South, towards the Senatoor and Engem territories. A team had already checked the Crossroads and Sorrowstown, they found no traces of neither the killers, nor the victim’s body.
  • Sarus Senatoor threatened to kill Corvus Ventus various times if he had seduced his sister, Amathal Senatoor. Later it was found that the two had indeed spent time together as “dates”.
  • Corvus was known to be around Aellyrdale for periods of time
  • The witnesses say the criminals were wearing black and grey armor, made of pure iron in the same form as Tybalt Marr-Rhett’s and Senatoor soldier’s armor material, though no Senatoors have been seen wearing black.
  • Corvus has been /very/ social with most of the houses, which may have brought conspiracy behind his name due to him knowing knowing too much or being allied with so many factions.
  • Corvus has been known to be loved by quite a few women, and this could have caused Amathal Senatoor to have him killed out of envy when he declined her marriage proposal and offer to have children.
  • Corvus has been known to make enemies with the Tideborne, it is likely they could have been hired to kill him. Though his main enemy Raigo was at the tavern during the murder.
  • Corvus was attacked a few days before the incident in the halfling town of Lydel. One of the culprits escaped, and is known as Raigo Tideborne, the other was Calcifer Veiloros, who is now dead. Raigo Tideborne has also been prosecuted and presumably tortured by the Senatoor, however, they have wrongly arrested him without jurisdiction, and had fled the scene once things went sour for them.
  • Corvus is the brother to Goren, a male Moor elf that has been known to have been blackmailed into attacking Lydel by Robert Senatoor.
  • Corvus has not crossed the Engems in any way to make them suspect, in fact; the Engem are some of his best friends, and his known lover Nera is also an Engem.
  • Corvus has no known connections to the “new” Assassins Guild.
  • Due to witness accounts the situation happened swiftly, which may have caused inaccurate assumptions or hypotheses.
  • Corvus has had no known record of going to the Sorrowlands or near the scene of the crime beforehand.
  • A black jacket belonging to Corvus Ventus was found at the scene of the crime, carrying dried blood and several slash marks around major arteries. Surprisingly, the jacket was not there the first time the scene was investigated.
  • Corvus has also saved the life of Tybalt’s god daughter Luna, and it is believe that Tybalt wouldn’t harm Corvus after such favor.
  • Corvus was also essential in settling peace between the Senatoor and Marr houses, possibly causing some hatred or respect towards him from either house who wanted war.
  • The Senatoor were also ordered to remain in their home before the murder took place, possibly forcing them to hire assassins IF they were at fault. Tideborne’s being hired is a possibility.
  • The only witness and a close friend of Corvus have stated their strong belief that those of the Senatoor house are the culprits, having been victim to their hatred, lies, and malevolence.
Prime Suspected House/People involved order:
  1. Senatoor
  2. Hired Tideborne
  3. Tybalt Marr-Rhett

Okay I am guna be blunt now, due to people trying to do the usual thing. "We didn't do it, you know this OOC, (And we are sure OOC because we don't lie to eachother OOC), so you have to believe us IC and find the "real" killers" instead of enjoying the thrill of the actual mystery in the RP.
The purpose of this thread was to give details on a letter sent out to each of the holds and Houses of Altera, it was purely in-character knowledge and not a debate on who actually did it. If you want to prove innocence/guilty of yourself or another party then I would highly recommend doing it in-game where RP is supposed to happen. All this arguing only serves to annoy and confuse people.

Cleaning and locking thread on request.
