What is xbox live like?

I was wondering if someone could let me use a 2 day trial for xbox live, to see what its like?

In that case, I would recommend Xbox over PS3. It requires a-what I'm about to say I've been told, I've never actually played Xbox Live-monthly subscription, but it is much better then PS3. But, of course, if you have financial troubles, PS3 multiplayer is free.
