Dont start too many towns guys!

A warning to all. The number of new towns is too high for the amount of new players coming in, check out as many towns as possible before you consider starting one. I advise you save up at least 80k Radiants and advise you line up potential citizens prior to stating your town. Make sure you have all the resources you need. Please, please take every precaution necessary before you begin your town!

Good advice MC_King, I'd actually recommend clubbing together with friends if you really must start a town, it's not an easy thing to do and it's best to have people financially commited to it from the start so there's more than one of you with a reason to keep it going. Make it clear that once the money is invested in the town it's non-refundable, otherwise they'll try to split the instant things get alittle dull

Thanks Half. I have seen tons of new towns begging for citizens these days . I'd appreciate it if this thread was moved so people could see it before jumping straight in. (The thread will die in a day or two otherwise)

Well Darkwood started off with Only VanGarrett but I joined almost immediatly... That was when there was less towns and no whitelist however.

Yeah it was fine before the whitelist, but now that its in place the server is a better although quiet place

It could be interseting R.P. wise if the whole of Altera was covered in towns, but not for very long, besides until we get to that point towns with only one person are pointless.

probably you'd have to have a huge number of police, about a police person 1 to 2 citizens , which would be imposible, that or vigilantism, which has its own problems.
