[NationStates] War! Carausmia vs Upresh

(Usually, flying objects over national borders needs to be warned and follow a given path/give radio feedback from the third-party to the national authority in place, or it can be considered an enemy aircraft. Doesn't matter if it's scouts, help airplanes, or tactical missiles, it's still airspace violation.)
I suppose I will work on that then Papa val! :3

With the news of all these impending forces approaching and the talk of AI gaining citizenship (part of an issue I got) Carausmian military's moral is low and the military regime is starting to crumble, only the Gra-Hul and Elites are eager to continue fighting

Another Legisian diplomat, bearing the colours of neutrality, arrives in Carausmia's provisional capital. He takes out a file from a binder and addresses whoever receives him.

"It is the will of our King that you surrender in this cause, and spare your honourable army any needless bloodshed. You are outnumbered nearly two to one, there is no chance of winning. King Aleksander beseeches you to visit him in Novigród so that a peace talk might be held. If you do not comply, we shall be forced to continue this war"

Meanwhile, camps have been set up close to the Legisian-Upreshi border, while checkpoints are being set up in controlled roads and towns.

Natrizima Heavy Battlesuits would be engaging Gra-Hul with Flame throwers and pesticides while Natrizima medium Battlesuits would be engaging Elites while Legisa delivered terms

(Guys, you're doing this all wrong, both sides. Sinclair and I are litterally finding this painful to watch.
Carausmia should go ahead and do guerilla warfare; they're better placed then Vietnam vs USA or Afghans vs Soviets, and they know the terrain. Legisians and Natrizimans should stick to cities, lest they should see their convoys wore out and raided; plus Mael, you can't /attack/ someone with a pesticide. If you do so, that's chemical acid warfare = warcrime. Juno, PM me if you want some OOC strategic help to stall this.)

(I appreciate the advise, but I don't see how they'd play out a guerrila war against us, at least not against Legisa. Not sure how closely we're sticking to the map, but most of Carausmia is plains, at least in the north west where I'm invading from, that is of course until we reach the hilly surroundings of Mt Harluth. It is also difficult establishing what cities our forces are holding up in, given that we don't have a city list or a map showing the territory divide between the nations. Just saying)

[recommendation is check sinclars map and assume roughly the half where you are invading from is Upresh and where it is still non occupied, [the other half] is carausmia, I doubt that you would end the war that quickly, as many have yet to even see this thread so just take a look and get ready after @CthulhuPeople and @RexTom 's respnse.]

(I never said anything about the war being over, I was just making a post that clarified the Legisian Army's actions thus far)

Inb4 the major world powers get involved and we end up with East and West Germany.

I can help with that!

I can outline a proper map in a bit, but for now, I'd assume the following is the state of affairs:
> Legisa and Upresh are primarily focused on solidifying the western port city
> Natrizima is focused on taking the eastern port city
> Carausmia is holding and heavily fortifying Mt Harulth, prepared to defend it to the death (religious fervor for holy site)
> The southern port city is in Carausmian hands but is not nearly as defended as Mt Harulth

( Sinclair, I love you. But yeah, that sounds mighty reasonable. In light of this proposed development, Legisa's forces would mainly be gathering in the western port city, while also staunchly defending their position on the border to the north. The swamps to the east of this city should prove to be difficult terrain for any army to cross, so I doubt my army will be marching through it any time soon. We're not throwing troops at Mt Harulth, but rather building up our presence in the country )

The Nomads War
Stage 1:

Nation States Carausmia - Upresh War.jpg
Key:
> Carausmian territory is yellow. Primary military lines are blue.
> Upreshian territory is black. Primary military lines are red.
> Neutral/disputed territory is grey.

Synopsis:
> Carausmia is fortifying Mt Harulth and attempting to stave off Natrizima in the east. Primarily defensive.
> Upresh and Legisa are securing the Legisan border and slowly claiming the west. Primarily cautious.
> Natrizima is attacking the eastern port city. Primarily aggressive.

Each side, be sure to let me know of developments and movements. I know what strategies I would likely pursue, but I can't read minds to figure out your strategies.

Wait, are those stupid ant things being used as soldiers?
(...what? What the heck are those /ants/??? Is someone seriously fighting with ants?)
(rude. RUDE.

I know we had a huge OOC argument about the bloody ants, but I believe the end of that argument was, nobody cared if Carausmia got sentient 5-foot-tall insectizoids. roll with it already, you already communicate with sentient robots, and half the nations have six-foot super-soldiers. this entire setting is completely unrealistic, I can't believe you guys are drawing the line at sentient ants, of all the things.)

(to uh.... append to that, if y'all were joking, I apologize)

(It was decided that the ants got politely retconned away, since there's gotta be a line somewhere, and we're trying to keep it at least halfway future modern Earth. Giant sentient ants don't fit into the narrative at all since their physiology wouldn't let them grow to that size, and they don't have the nervous system or resources to maintain a sapient brain. The synthetics fit within existing laws well enough to get by.)
