they come from a strange, hellish world, where everything seems backwards.
they seem to be capable of appearing right when you don't want them to appear.
they are repelled by water.
they are very, very dangerous, but do not attack unless you confront them.
and, they alter the landscape as they please.

Conclusion? the Corrupt are Endermen.
