(My name is mon. I enjoy armr on YouTube both watching, and making. I have 11 penpals from around the world. I enjoy gardening and always have a small garden each year. I work at a daycare very strange odd hours. I have been playing pathfinder, dnd, and some homebrew games for about 10 years, but covid completely halted all of them that wasn't online, and with people returning back to inperson far away, and no one returning close I am without a steady group. I love Disney I'm a fairy tale nerd I have been there four times. I am hoping to go back next year. I enjoy doodling, but i'm terrible at it.)

Current Setting of the Server:
The lands of Altera have long been laced with upheaval, supernatural turmoil that would threaten to shatter the realm or tear it asunder. Long, have the peoples of Altera withstood these tribulations, overcoming and persevering through the generations. Only too recently, have they settled the ire of Titans and Gods. Though the days were dark and long, the realm did survive, through tenacity and reverence. The memories of their trials behind them still fresh, the realm sits in a state of unease and angst . . . with eyes on the horizon.
In the skies above, the stars flicker and burn across the auburn colors of the setting sun, streaks of color in the gathering dark. The Realm of Altera awaits . . .

Written Test!
(“Délo!” a stoutly old dwarf waves from behind the bar in an old tavern. The floor is worn with decades of use and there are only two tables, and the bar. The smell of baking bread fills the tavers. The sound of a soup gently bubbling over a crackling fire can be heard. A human with brown hair and a farmer's tan approaches, and sits down. “Good day granny, can I get a meed?’
The older dwarf throws a grey braid behind her back, and looks up from the mug she was wiping out. Her green eyes peer into his. A slight smile across her face, “Ae heard that you have been flirting with that haughty elf girl in the manor. Ae am sure your mother would not approve lad.” The wrinkles deepen as she laughs. The poor boy goes red as he repeats, “meed please.” she wipes a hand on her apron before going to fill up the mug in her hand. She sets it on the table, and slides it over. “Lad, do yau ever think of leaving?” the poor boy almost chokes on his drink as he sets it down. “W-what?”
“Ever since my husband passed, ae guess ae have been thinking of all the plans we made to one day travel the world, meet new people, start a family...” she looks down with sadness in her face. The boy looks up, “nope my place is here, my family is here, and I’m a farmer it is my place here”
“Lad, ae swear yau have no imaginations for the world outside of this nowhere!” where the peace and war ebs and flows into each other, and every day is an adventure! Where a new family, and a new purpose awaits us! To head to that big old town all the traveling merchants talk about Storm’s Landing, and get on a boat to untamed lands. Just be alive for once instead of being trapped here”
The man rolls his eyes, “do you have something burn-?” “my bread!” the old woman reaches into the oven, and pulls out a couple pans with over cooked bread in them. She frowns looking at the two burnt loaves. The man looked at her. “It’s ok granny if you give them to me for half price i will buy them both” she rolls her eyes, and takes the offer.
“So lad yau heard about the Caparii that passed through the other day. He said he was heading to a great feast in New Soolera. Ae wonder what that place is like. The man said it was cold there.” the man ate his burnt bread. “I don’t know why you focus on outsiders, so much when there is plenty of excitement here. Did you hear farmer Selsies cat just had 8 kittens.”
“Ae did not lad. Ae will haft to deliver some of meir excess fish when the fishmongor comes by tomorrow. Ae suppose you're right lad.” the man finishes his mead, and grabs the extra loaf, and heads off, “goodnight granny.”
“Night lad.” she waits for the door to close before mumbling “perhaps also yau don’t have a unique bone in your body.” )

About Your Character!
This section is about the character you intend to use once you join the server.We ask that new players follow these guidelines during this portion of the application:
- Characters begin with basic skills and gear. No advanced armor or weaponry. Skills and abilities are appropriate to a novice level. Skills should be learned through roleplay, not through backstory.
- Characters fit the lore. If you choose to play as a Moor Elf, for example, we expect appearance and details to be fitting with base lore.
- Characters cannot use magic in any way. The test itself should not mention magic either. HollowWorld uses a restricted magic system and it is only accessible to those who find and learn from a teacher in-game.
- Tests should not be violent. No murder, killing, death, torture. In the past, 8 out of 10 applications featured characters fighting off bandits or slaying passersby. We don't want to see how well you can script a fight scene. We want to see how well you can tell a story, how well you can roleplay.
- Be creative and be original. Do not use tests/characters whose home villages were burned, parents murdered, and then set off to be an orphan assassin. It has been done before. Please don't do it again.
- Written portion of the test is required to be a 400 word minimum. If the test doesn't meet the minimum, Staff may ask you to extend the test before the application is considered.
