This is the book for uniting oneself to a particular Divine via acquiescence and a sacrifice. One must prepare an offering, living or object. The conjurer, masked and bare-chested, will stand before a dim altar upon which are a bell, thurible, incense, a sacrificial chisel, and a fire with which to ignite the thurible.
"I call unto you by the laws Divine,
acquiesce to you, I resign."
The conjurer offers the sign of silence, upon which he takes the bell and fire in his hands.
"By your Father and your Sons,
By your Saints and by your Heavens."
The conjurer strikes thrice upon the bell. He will place the fire upon the thurible, silence will follow.
"Upon your name, thrice I strike the bell,
Come unto me Great Dreamer, by the words that openeth Hell!
Hear me, and accept my offering;"
The conjurer strikes thrice upon the bell. He will place the incense upon the thurible, smoke will spread and disperse.
"O’ Great Dreamer, Perfect Volution in the skies,
Emerge, Convulse, Rise,
Thy reign is come; thy will is done,
Here is the blood, the sacrifice of One,
An oblation I bring to thee,
One to satisfy the will of Three.
Those of pathetic dearth condemn,
and by your sacred name, AMEN."
The conjurer strikes thrice upon the bell. With the sacrificial chisel, he carves the sign of an eye into his chest.
"Behold the mark upon my chest!
And now I pass the final test!"
The conjurer will prostrate, and bleed upon the altar. After a few moments of silence, he will place his offering upon the altar. Should the offering be a living creature, it’s throat shall be slit, and it shall bleed out upon the altar.
"This offering I surrender, this oath I swear,
as I effervesce myself with prayer;
O' Great Dreamer,
I feel your presence amongst us, accept my charity,
I ask you fill my mind with boon and clarity.
I will myself to you again,
and by your sacred name, AMEN.”
The Evocation is complete, the conjurer goeth forth.
