Hardware Update

Server is now has 12gb of Memory. Going up to 16gb Next week.

The world files are now running from Ramdisk. You should see massive improvements because of this.

The Ramdisk does an incremental back up every 5 minutes to local storage. The local storage version of the world continues to be backed up every hour.

Have you considered changing to the server-program written in C+ instead of the java-based one?

Rumor has it its tens of times faster and more reliable - once its complete.

I've had a look before now; There are a few different options. Bukkit support is...."partial" in most cases. I've not found one with total bukkit support yet. But i'll keep my eye out for you.

it's kinda pointless looking now as 1.8 is going to need to be completely recoded again
