(It is important to understand what these terms are and why they are bannable offenses in any roleplaying community.)
Metagaming - Obtaining out-of-character knowledge and using it in character. Ex: Knowing someone's name, knowing someone's location, etc..
Powergaming - Forcing an action to go through during CRP or performing an action that would not be possible for your character's stature or ability level.
6. Do we allow X-Raying mods or X-Ray texture packs on the server?
(This question goes for any method that can be used to unfairly find and mine ores.)

Hello, I'm Hypsi, a 16 year old senior in high school this upcoming year. I'm a big performer and I partake in theatrical performances at my local theatre while also working as a princess performer! Other games I like to play when I am not on Minecraft include "Coloring game" and Stardew, but the range in which I do play is much bigger than that. This year marks my fifth year in roleplay surroundings (crazy, I know, an 11 year old hopping online to do some roleplay), and I'm excited to be returning to the roleplay scene after taking a few months break. Along with that, I love to hang out with my boyfriend who is my best friend.

Current Setting of the Server:
The lands of Altera have long been laced with upheaval, supernatural turmoil that would threaten to shatter the realm or tear it asunder. Long, have the peoples of Altera withstood these tribulations, overcoming and persevering through the generations. Only too recently, have they settled the ire of Titans and Gods. Though the days were dark and long, the realm did survive, through tenacity and reverence. The memories of their trials behind them still fresh, the realm sits in a state of unease and angst . . . with eyes on the horizon.
In the skies above, the stars flicker and burn across the auburn colors of the setting sun, streaks of color in the gathering dark. The Realm of Altera awaits . . .

Aurea sat upon the unkempt lemongrass beside an old willow tree, one in which has begun to weep more than usual due to its old age. This was a common spot for the young elf to retreat to in hopes of solace and nostalgia. As her knees were brought to her chest, slender hands crept their ways around her lower leg, her chin resting in the cavern between both kneecaps as she looked out towards the setting sun millions of miles away. The golden light shined upon her platinum hair, sending golden streaks down in highlights as her soft eyes drifted over the trees blowing in the warm wind. Her right hand moved away from her body to a stem that held a small bundle of white bittercress upon the tip, gently gripping the gentle life before plucking it from the ground with a small snap. Bringing the flower to eye level, her index finger rolled the stem across her thumb, twisting the flower in multiple 360-degree turns to observe the entire beauty of such a small gift.
The frail female would rise to her feet slowly as she hummed a tune that her mother once hummed to her to aid her fall asleep, releasing the flower from her grasp. Pointing her right foot in a delicate manner, she'd begin to hold her arms gracefully as she shifted her weight amongst her feet as she glided across the green field, turning in pure bliss. It was only when the moon began to shine upon her surroundings that she had accepted it was time to return to her home in Eldpoint, where her fragile and ill father awaits her return. Narrowing her eyes slightly to see farther across the land, her eyes would survey the rice patties that she must cross through before reaching the city once more.
Drawing her light cloak around her body in an attempt to keep her bodily warmth closer to her, she'd close her eyes once more as a slight breeze pushed through. Her silky hair would lift off of her shoulders and into the air, flying much like a falling leaf, eventually landing upon her shoulder once more in an unstyled manner. Looking upon the ground, she'd notice a small patch of bittercress, picking multiple stems full of the small and delicate flower, placing them methodically throughout the braided band in her hair. Mournfully, Aurea would begin her short journey back home, already yearning to return to the beautiful lands that lay outside of where she sleeps at night.

About Your Character!
This section is about the character you intend to use once you join the server.We ask that new players follow these guidelines during this portion of the application:
- Characters begin with basic skills and gear. No advanced armor or weaponry. Skills and abilities are appropriate to a novice level. Skills should be learned through roleplay, not through backstory.
- Characters fit the lore. If you choose to play as a Moor Elf, for example, we expect appearance and details to be fitting with base lore.
- Characters cannot use magic in any way. The test itself should not mention magic either. HollowWorld uses a restricted magic system and it is only accessible to those who find and learn from a teacher in-game.
- Tests should not be violent. No murder, killing, death, torture. In the past, 8 out of 10 applications featured characters fighting off bandits or slaying passersby. We don't want to see how well you can script a fight scene. We want to see how well you can tell a story, how well you can roleplay.
- Be creative and be original. Do not use tests/characters whose home villages were burned, parents murdered, and then set off to be an orphan assassin. It has been done before. Please don't do it again.
- Written portion of the test is required to be a 400 word minimum. If the test doesn't meet the minimum, Staff may ask you to extend the test before the application is considered.
