Lux is, and always has been a Wanderer. Even before he became a Cleric, he wandered far and wide within his own world. When The Corrupters arrived in his world, he was caught in a battle between the forces of Order, and of Chaos. Caught up in the tremendous energies released in the kings' forces and the Corrupters, he was hurled far from the world of his birth, in space and in time. His comatose body was discovered by a group of Monks on their way to their home monastery. The monks, being learned in many ways discerned upon him the marks of both the magicks of the kings and those of the corrupters. Taking him with them, they treated him as best they could. Upon awakening, Lux found that his memory of his early life was indistinct and only a few things shone through; his name, his thirst for knowledge, his love of art and his wanderlust. While convalescing among the monks, he was introduced to what would become his true calling in life: The teachings and beliefs of the followers of the One God. After staying in the monastery long enough to recuperate, Lux decided travel to the High temple of The One God to undergo the arduous training to become a Missionary Cleric.
Upon completion of his training, During a Secret and Sacred Ritual, Lux Cast off his birth name and took on the name of Lux Aeturnum,( meaning Light Eternal, referring to the glorious radiance of the One God. (a Little pretentious, yes, but he was young, and…)) among other, more secret things.
(Missionary Clerics are Sworn never to set down roots, never to “settle Down” permanently. These Monks travel ever onwards, founding ministries and making converts. They are taught Healing-by-herb, and Healing-by-knife, and are sworn to aid those in need whenever possible. They are not sworn to poverty, or celibacy, or chastity, but as the road calls to them constantly, they rarely form permanent attachments. A Missionary Cleric will often stay in one place for years, sometimes decades, but when it is time for them to go, they Know. And off they will go, to the next city, or country, or even, World.

Lux is a rather ordinary person for all that. He has no significant magical ability, only moderate Physical strength and stature (in fact he’s even a bit pudgy), is capable of no brilliant mental feats, and prefers negotiation to confrontation whenever possible. He has a very unconventional set of beliefs, even by the standards of his priesthood. For instance, he believes art, all art to be a form of worship, and can often be heard to say that a particularly attractive construction is “a most excellent Worship”. He also believes that all sentients are ensouled (a matter of some debate among his peers) and believes that everyone should have the chance to hear of The One God. Consequently, he is often more stern with members of his own faith than with outsiders. He is also Very clumsy, and is often oblivious to the world around him, often ending with him being ambushed by one thing or another. In addition, because he has recently spent a very long time away from other people, he is somewhat oblivious to social cues.
