To protect our sanctity, our homes and to protect the seas.
The navy of Drakenport is founded on the beliefs that the seas
must be protected from foreign invaders who would wish to seize it
for themselves entirely. As no threats encompass the regions of Drakenport
by land, it is obvious their military should be based in the navy.
In the name of our liege and god. To answer their call when needed.

The seaborn are a people born within Drakenport and its close allies who wish for it. Most of them are born, baptized under one or the other god that has claim to the seas.
However, in spite of the religious background, Drakenport and its military aspire for naval supremacy through the achievement of technological superiority as well as shear outnumbering.
In this new light of the Imperium, the seafarers take on their own uniforms and traditions that distinguish them from the other states of the Empire and also give them pride.
From an early age, every citizen born in Drakenport is taught that it is their right and entitlement to protect their home and the Imperium by the sea. That is their
right to learn and advance their cities in technology and innovation. That it is also their right to take part in conquest.
The militaristic side of the Kalstaat is shown heavily in the livelihood of them with uniforms in the colors of blue made for every sailor. To be worn
in their day to day lives when outside active combat missions. While their active armor shows heavy resemblance to the sea with scales made in embellishments or syren tails curled into the handles of swords or tridents.
Their ships shown to share similar color schemes in sails.
The navy splits into different categories of which it consists. Sailors and soldiers may opt for any depending on their liking, but each has their own catch.
There are ranks to climb within the military itself, which every sailor and soldier may eventually climb.
Hierachy:
[ Captain ]
The Captain of ones ship. One must have advanced to Lieutenant and been commissioned and assigned their own ship prior to becoming a Captain. Captain's are the first and foremost
person in command. They will give the instructions to their Liutentants who in turn give to sailors/Seafarers.navyuniforms.jpg
[ Master ]
A temporary rank, given in the heat of battle or tasks. To be given upon Liutentant to temporarely take commission and control of a ship in the absence of a Captain.
[ Lieutenant ]
Liutentants are charged with the first and foremost advise of a Captain. They give out orders to those below and may be charged with special tasks and carrying them out with a specific team of Seafarers/Sailors.
[ Seafarer ]
Promptly known as the sailors or soldiers of the navy. The bulk which without a ship cannot operate. While they're the lowest in the chain of command, they are given the higher regard as without them, the Captains and Liutentants would not be.
The higher offiicials and all members of the navy are all recgonized as Seafarers. They are eligible to earning rewards from their state, but are expected to carry out orders regardless of how they may seem.
Branches:
[ The Imperial Guard ]
The Imperial Guard is the bulk of the navy. The most durable and bulkier of the navy. The galleons and warships. They're charged with defense and or offense if war heeds it. They are the ones to endure the most amount of battle.
They may be recognized by stronger colors of blue in their uniforms as well as with white gloves.
[ The Advance Guard ]
The advance guard, as the name suggests is a branch of the navy which furthers itself by the gathering of information and intelligence. They're charged with scouting patrols with select members chosen to a more discrete
branch where they may be taught skills that are necessary for spying missions.
The branch is often equipped with the fastest, but not the most durable or equipped ships. Granted their mission is to gather information prior or during battle and return as soon as possible. They may be recognized
for a more timid color of blue in uniforms. While their gloves are in blue.
[ The Watcher Guard ]
A more discrete, unknown branch of the navy. Perhaps with more strong ties to the Visage in nature of their tasks. They are charged with spying and guerilla tasks that may tip the balance in certain missions.
Their faces are obscured by helmets that cover the entire head and are given armor that is all the more discrete and which produces less sound. Ship wise they may operate in similar ships as the Advance guard. Though
ultimately their tasks may be done on the land as well as opposed to purely on the sea. Select members are chosen for this. Very little is known other than this.
The seaborn hold esteem in military tradition and culture. While their notion is largely new, their origin to the Imperium is not. Most of their populace being that of Anhalder orign or of its subforms, of the Kaltic.
To become a soldier in the military of Drakenport and to be seaborn. One takes to a creed to never intend on the needless destruction or wanton harming of the seas. To honor the traditions of the military and liege.
To honor the sea in life and in death. In defending the sea, is to die by it. All seaborn who die are instead delivered to the seas instead of burial. Memorials may be written to them akin to graveyards, but their bodies stay within the sea. Absolute silence must be maintained within the memorial grounds or during ones burial to the seas.
To respect the gods of the sea, and give no quarter to the ones trying to usurp them. To leave the apostles and faithful to their own religious debates and support either side without ill intent for the other. However, to not aid those outside the pantheon. The arcane is somewhat excempt from this.
To respect the pantheon. All forms of worship that do not go against the Imperium by law, the decree of the ruling House, the crown of the Imperium or otherwise, are to be welcomed without ill intent.
To respect the law and word of thine liege. The ruling Captain, Admiral of ones ship. The ruling House of ones state and or furthermore the ruling crown of the Imperium may declare laws or decrees upon the state. Whether bad or good in purview, to go against is of extreme dishonor.
To respect the earned titles of the nobility and Royalty. The titles of the noble, whether of the ruling House or another, whether of Imperial royalty. One shall address a Lord, Lady, Count or Countess, King or Queen. Prince or princess properly by title and consistently. To fail is to subject oneself to
dishonour and the repayment depending on the weregild of the noble or royal in question. All shall help others recognize any noble if unaware and encourage them to address them as such, before and if they should dishonour themselves. [Though this is already part of the Laws of the Kalstaat, the navy wishes to encourage this further.]
To respect the sailor and soldier. All soldiers are entitled to eventually receive rewards for their gallantry in service during peace or war.
