Metagaming: Using outside knowledge that your character would otherwise not know when making decisions or taking action during roleplay. Powergaming: Doing everything in one's power to gain an upper hand, such as exploiting ingame mechanics, to gain an unfair advantage over other players.

(This question goes for any method that can be used to unfairly find and mine ores.)

I am well versed in minecraft roleplay and take part often.

Current Setting of the Server:
The lands of Altera have long been laced with upheaval, supernatural turmoil that would threaten to shatter the realm or tear it asunder. Long, have the peoples of Altera withstood these tribulations, overcoming and persevering through the generations. Only too recently, have they settled the ire of Titans and Gods. Though the days were dark and long, the realm did survive, through tenacity and reverence. The memories of their trials behind them still fresh, the realm sits in a state of unease and angst . . . with eyes on the horizon.
In the skies above, the stars flicker and burn across the auburn colors of the setting sun, streaks of color in the gathering dark. The Realm of Altera awaits . . .

Appearance:
(We just want to make sure things like hair color, eye color, skin color, and clothing is all fitting for the setting/lore we have.)
Huvan is Auburn of hair, sporting brown eyes. He is stout and has large and sports calloused hands. He wears traditional dwarven clothing, his outfit the usual type worn by a common dwarf of lowborn title. He is often seen wearing drab brown trousers and a mostly clean shirt, his waistcoat sown together from scraps of hand-me-down cloth. His hair runs long, braided into complicated knots, with his beard knotted similarly. His skin is mottled and weather worn.

*The dwarf flinched as he sat, the thin coat of frost on the wooden seat sending a chill up his spine. Under normal circumstances he would have used a rag to wipe the toilet dry, however this was an emergency.
The dwarf began to strain, veins bulging from the top of his brow. He clenched his fists as he doubled over; the ordeal was about to begin.
*HHHHNNNNGHH!*
The Dwarf tensed every muscle, almost as if he were in a battle. His legs tightened as his jaw clenched. This would not be an easy one.
The sweat dripped from his prominent brow as he focused on the wooden ramshackle door. This was not his first time squeezing out a deuce as sizable as this, and he knew for sure it would not be the last. He grit his teeth before straining again. His feet began to drum the ground in anticipation and desperation.
This dump was a worthy adversary.
Huvan shut his eyes tight as he tensed with all of his might. Not oft was the blockage this fearsome and even less so was it this solid. He forced with all the strength he could muster but this proved to be a harder jam to shift. The dwarf furrowed his brow.
*Blasted jobbie, begone from me arse!”
Despite his yells, the blockage would not listen. It stayed trapped in it’s position. Huvan concentrated on the door and brought to mind every adversary he had faced. Crunchy, chunky, blocky. Every one he had bested, and yet, here he was, glued to the outhouse.
“Fuhck me! Ah’ve ne’er had t’ blast some’hin this big out!”.
The dwarf fumed at his inability.
“If only ah’ were thirteh years younger!”
In his rage he decided. He would pass this blockage if it meant his life.
Huvan groaned and strained, harder than he had in his life. The veins in his head began to bulge as his muscles showed themselves. He would not lose.
The relief came promptly. Huvan let out a deep sigh of relief. Never before had he been so content. He turned to his left to grasp the toilet moss.
He grasped nothing.
Huvan blanched as he glanced to his right. There was no moss, or even any means with which to wipe his aching arse. The dwarf cursed, head swinging about in search of anything to use as a means to wipe. Alas, his search was in vain.
Just as he thought all hope was lost, a chance look afforded him the escape he was so desperately looking for.
A white wolf pelt. A white wolf pelt that Tuvan had specifically told nobody to touch.
Huvan eyed the pelt with greedy eyes. He leaned forward and peeked past the door of the potty. Nobody was in sight. Perfect. He checked again before swiftly grasping the pelt and tugging it into the potty. This was his prize, and he grasped it tightly to his chest. Huvan sighed with relief. His arse would be clean another day.
I chose a non serious subject in RP to show that I can approach a non serious subject. Thanks!

About Your Character!
This section is about the character you intend to use once you join the server.We ask that new players follow these guidelines during this portion of the application:
- Characters begin with basic skills and gear. No advanced armor or weaponry. Skills and abilities are appropriate to a novice level. Skills should be learned through roleplay, not through backstory.
- Characters fit the lore. If you choose to play as a Moor Elf, for example, we expect appearance and details to be fitting with base lore.
- Characters cannot use magic in any way. The test itself should not mention magic either. HollowWorld uses a restricted magic system and it is only accessible to those who find and learn from a teacher in-game.
- Tests should not be violent. No murder, killing, death, torture. In the past, 8 out of 10 applications featured characters fighting off bandits or slaying passersby. We don't want to see how well you can script a fight scene. We want to see how well you can tell a story, how well you can roleplay.
- Be creative and be original. Do not use tests/characters whose home villages were burned, parents murdered, and then set off to be an orphan assassin. It has been done before. Please don't do it again.
- Written portion of the test is required to be a 400 word minimum. If the test doesn't meet the minimum, Staff may ask you to extend the test before the application is considered.
